This is an excellent case. It's well constructed and has lots of handy pockets. I really like the idea of the pull out rain cover, although I haven't needed it yet. It does add a little peace of mind for outdoor shooting. I'll feel more comfortable taking the camera with me when I shoot my son's soccer games on overcast days. The only problem I have with the bag is probably my own fault (or my salesman's fault). It is a little small for what I'm trying to stuff into it. I have a Canon Rebel T2i and an extra zoom lens stuffed in the main compartment. It would probably work fine if it was the camera and a flash, but the width of the extra lens forces me to turn the camera sideways in the case. This is definitely a tight fit and along with the cords, lens cleaner, remote, extra battery, etc. I like to keep all together in a case, it makes it bulge and is a little unstable. It tends to roll forward off it's base. If I have to add anything more to my collection, I will definitely have to buy a larger case, but I will also look at the Lowepro line first!

The bag holds our D5100 camera and an extra 300 mm lens along with all the accessories that come with it. It's a snug fit but the bag is good and it stops things from rolling around. Water shield is nice to when it rains. Overall a good buy.

It is very useful and protective for my expensive Nikon camera and its accessories. Easy to carry around, especially when travelling. Not too large making storage difficult and not too small, that can easily be misplaced.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 140 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
Great bag for belt-mounted high-speed on-site/field camera access. Excellent for shooting fireworks shows, in nature preserves/zoos and "need it now/put it away again for a while" shooting scenarios. Not big enough to carry a big telephoto or tons of gear, but not meant to be (if you need a bigger bag, buy one - this isn't spandex). As weather-resistant as could be hoped for in a cloth bag (rain cover included), but not meant to be waterproof (if you need waterproof, buy an O-ring sealed hard case). Top value for the price; about as good as cloth bags get.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 140 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
Great little bag for a single camera and maaaaaybe one other lens, if you have a car or other place to store it when you are shooting. Not good to take out for a day. I did not listen to the salesperson and purchase a backpack bag and now my shoulder gets sore and I am always dealing with this bag if I am out for a day shooting.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 140 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
I got this bag over a week ago together with my Canon Rebel T3 with kit lens 18-55mm, and I have been very impressed so far. The bag is lightweight, but looks and feels durable. The padding makes you feel like your camera is safe on the inside, and my camera fits in snugly (sideways though). It rained on Saturday while I was out with my camera and I just pulled out the rain-guard and presto! I didn't have to worry about the rain any longer!
Ultimately, I think this is a great buy, and I love it! If you have a larger lens though, it might be a good idea to check this out in a store first.
