Decent bag, NOT great though
The bag itself seems well constructed, good materials and good customizability. However, it was suggested as a bag for the HMC150 and in that regard it has both good and bad attributes.

The bag itself seems well constructed, good materials and good customizability. However, it was suggested as a bag for the HMC150 and in that regard it has both good and bad attributes.
It is a VERY snug fit on the HMC150 and allows for very little additional accessory space. It'll pretty much fit the contents of the HMC150 as packaged, but no extra controllers, lens attachments or anything. So in that regard, it is a good snug fitting case but with no frills.
Overall it's worth the price of the bag, perhaps more, but I might have to upgrade to a new bag for this one soon. I currently have a Porta Brace DVO-2 case for my main HMC150 and it holds EVERYTHING I need for the average shoot. With this bag, it's small enough and easy enough for running out the door to catch a must-have-that-shot type of moment.
It's a perfect bag if you just need to order something to protect your camcorder and don't have the time (or money) to get something better yet.

This came in a package with my Canon XH-G1 and while it is a very solid bag, it is very small and in fact too small for my needs. The camera alone barely fits, let alone any of my accessories. I would recommend this bag for anyone with a small camcorder though.

Purchased this bag for my Panasonic AC90, fits perfectly! Alot of the smaller bags by Petrol or Kata seemed a bit too big and bulky for the AC90 but this bag feels like it was truly made for it. The shell is sturdy and the material is of a very decent quality. Is the build quality and material as good as some of the more expensive bags? Not quite but it's very close and certainly offers excellent value for money.

The first bag was defective and B & H promptly replaced it. I like the bag but it is harder to place my needs in than the old bag I had been using. Wish it had more pockets, like on the ends for extra cords etc. I carry many items due to my videoing at church Seems real sturdy.

Have used these cam-bags for several years and have always found them to be "protective" of their camera contents. The only flaw are the snaps crafted into the flap that wraps around the handles; the snaps are sometimes not pressed properly and tend to tear free and fall out. Usually this takes a while, but on my recent purchase of this item, one of these snaps was faulty right out of the box. It's hardly worth the inconvenience of a return so one is apt to deal with it rather than be without for what might be weeks. Still, this Pearstone is adequate and a must-have for toting prosumer cameras.

This bag is well made, provides good padding, but it simply did not have enough pockets and dividers to meet my needs, so I returned it and bought the Tamrac Expedition 7. That is a VERY different class of bag, actually a camera back pack. So, in effect I had changed my criteria altogether.

The Pearstone carrybag is a nice fit and spacious for my HDR FX7.Enough room and padding for more gear,accessories and mini disc as well. Inside has padding that can be removed or set up to your comfort with velcro pads. Worth every dollar and secures your equipment well.

Bag is exactly as described - easy to access top loading, both side handles and shoulder strap (with flap overlays I am always afraid I will pick up the bag and it will not be fastened resulting in my camera falling), easy to reconfigure the padding.

I have two of these Pearstones. I use one for all my camera gear and lenses, and the other for sound, drives, cables, batteries etc.
The moveable velcro sections are really great for custom fitting all the stuff I have, and I can rearrange them as things change.
These bags are easy to carry and lightweight and seem to hold up to the rigors of a day's shoot. They are actually easy to clean too. I think they are perfect for the kind of work I'm doing. I would highly recommend them. Great price. Great value.
