  • Titanium-Plated Drivers
  • MU Metal Shielding
  • Speed-Switch Earpads
  • Two Detachable Cables
  • Hard Storage Case Included

The PRO 750 headphones from Ultrasone provide professional-quality audio in a lightweight and comfortable design. The headphones can fold down into the included hard case, which also has room for storing accessories. The headphones are fully adjustable, and have comfortable around-ear speed-switch earpads. A spare pair of earpads are included.

The headphones use large 40mm titanium-plated drivers to provide the most exact sound reproduction possible, with a wide frequency response that offers deep bass and crisp treble that's ideal for engineering, mastering, and tracking vocalists. The headphones use Ultrasone's proprietary S-Logic Natural Surround Sound technology to provide a realistic sound scape, creating the impression that you're listening to high-quality speakers that are actually several feet away. This technology also produces the same perceived volume levels at a lower dB rating, allowing you to set the volume on your player a bit lower, potentially reducing the risk of hearing damage.

Other great features of the PRO 750 include MU metal shielding, which reduces radiation emission by up to 98% compared to other similar headphones on the market. This is an excellent feature for users who spend a great deal of time using headphones. The headphones include two single-sided detachable cables; one straight and one coiled. Each cord has a standard 1/4" stereo plug, and a 3.5mm mini adapter is included.

Portable Design
The headphones fold down easily into the included hard case for convenient storage and travel.
Pro-Quality Sound
Large 40mm titanium-plated drivers provide exact sound reproduction that's ideal for engineering, mastering, and tracking vocalists. Combined with Ultrasone's S-Logic Surround Sound Technology, this puts you right into the center of the music. Instead of piping sound directly into your head, the S-Logic technology creates a rich and detailed soundscape that seems more like you're listening to live music than headphones.
Safer Listening
In addition to providing a realistic sonic experience, the S-Logic technology provides the same loudness sensation as other headphones, with an up to 40% lower dB output. This lets you set the volume lower on your music player, and potentially reduce the risk of hearing damage.
Ultra Low Emissions
The PRO 750 headphones have ULE technology with an MU metal bufferboard to significantly reduce the amount of electromagnetic emissions produced by the headphones; up to 98% less than standard headphones. This is excellent for professional users who spend the majority of their day wearing headphones.
Comfortable Design
The fully-adjustable headband and around-ear speed-switch earpads provide long-lasting comfort. A spare pair of earpads are included.
Detachable Cables
Two single-sided detachable cables are provided; one straight and one coiled. Each cable has a 1/4" stereo plug, and a 1/4" to mini adapter is included.

Smartphone user Review with Pro's and Con's

I've owned my Ultrasone Pro 750 for about 10 months, and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world except the Ultrasone Edition 8 :].
I power and push them on my iPhone 4s with no amp creating an immersive sound environment, but you could add a small amp to make them sound even more amazing. They are my decently expensive beater/work horse headphones.

I tried all the Beats, Bose, Skull Candy, Sony, Coby, etc. These are far far better than any other headphones I have tried on.

      ------Pro's------

Amazing sound comes from these cans (headphones) and thats from the minimal power supply of a phone. If you plug them into something with a sound card and a power supply, and you might as well be in the recording studio with the band or composer you are listening to.

I listen to all types of music to include - Beatles, Lil Wayne, Mozart, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, No Doubt, Hector Lavoe, J.S. Bach, Robert Johnson, Robi Draco Rosa, High and Mighty Color, Bob Marley, Al Green, Katy Perry, One Republic, Nas, Nirvana, Miles Davis, Eminem, Dido, Glee Music, Gustavo Cerati, Shakira, Nelly Fertado, Tiesto, Gorillaz, Fingerbangerz, Michael Jackson, Kid Rock, Coldplay, Incubus, Eagles, Fabri Fibra, Maroon 5, Michael Buble, etc.

And all types of genres to include - Rock, Pop, Easy Listening, Hip-Hop, R&B, Musicals, Delta Blues, Bluegrass,Modern Classical Music, Salsa, Merengue, Japanese Pop and Rock, Grunge, German Heavy Metal, Doo-Woop, Electronica, Techno, House, Opera, Italian Rap, Reggae, Reggaeton, 80's, 90's, 60's, 70's, Freestyle, etc.

Being an Artist (painter and dancer) I have a taste for everything, finding the happiness in all. I use them to listen to music while I paint or dance in the studio. I listen mostly for the beat/rhythm and then lyrical is second. I like Clear and Crisp Vocals/Treble and nice soothing Bass with just the right touch of Mids.

These headphones make all my music sound better than anything else I have heard music on. I can hear little nuances in songs that I never did in the thousand times I listen to one of my favorite songs.

Bass, Mids, and Highs merge into a beautiful unison, as long as the music you have is a good quality recording/mp3.

You can tell the difference in sound from a bad pirated copy of music, and a real high definition, high quality recording.

I don't know how many hours I have on them (they have a 500+ hour burn in), but they sound better and better everyday. Approx. 300-400 hours on mine.

They are very well constructed and stylish nicely. Very Contemporary.

Foldable design with detactable cable for easy portablility.

Comes with carry case, extra set of ear pads, 2 cables, CD

      --------Con's-------

They are a little tight on your head. This can be a little uncomfortable after very prolonged use. For me that is the 4 hour mark, but that is almost any headphone.

The strait cord is about 4-5 inches shorter than most other headphones. I'm 5'10, and I can put them on and have my phone in my pocket, and they fit perfect, but if I put the phone in a side cargo pocket, the cord will not reach. You do get a coiled cord that is like 15 ft long if you want, but you would have to buy an adapter to connect to phone.

      Those are the only Con's....
If you think the price is a Con, then you are wrong. The price is perfect for a product of this quality, not too high. I would shell out more money for these.

      -------Final Thought--------

I'm no audiophile, but I know how music should sound.

When I first got them and pop in the factory CD (that display the true power behind them) into my Macbook Pro. I heard the first track "Sileypud," and I got scared. I heard that oboe sound coming from my dresser 10 ft away and then the rest of the instruments, a tuba, a banjo from behind me and to my left.... I closed my eyes and felt like I was in the studio. The S-Logic natural surround sound and the perfect EQ. I instantly fell in love with them!

If you have the money for them, these are an excellent buy for a music lover.

B&H thank you for the superior customer service as always.

B&H sells a protection plan for cheap that cover these for 2 years + 1 year manufacter's warranty, that is 3 years of coverage for like 60 bucks!

After pairing this with my Fiio e17 and Sansa ClipZip and listening for 100+ hours I felt somewhat dissatisfied. Now don't get me wrong; play the right music through these and they shine. The recessed mids, sparkly highs, and deeep bass sound great with hip hop and electronica but not so hot elsewhere. Vocals and guitars sound too distant for my taste. Everyone says s-logic is either a hit or miss, well, for me it worked with proper positioning. That's one thing these are picky with, position. Too far back and all you get is shrill highs. Put it too forward and you get more than abundant bass. The sweet spot is someplace further forward from the middle. Get it positioned right and you'll feel a more spanse soundstage than you'd expect. I give them a three because while they're the most detailed (for better or worse) I've heard they don't tick all the boxes. I'm still looking for the right closed can for vocals and rock

Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Closed-Back Professional Headphones:

      (4.5 STARS)

I've had quite a few of Ultrasones, which include the HFI 580, HFI 2400, PRO 900 and the PRO 750. I prefer the 750 over all of these. They have a very balanced sound with amazing tight bass and an edge in the highs. Mids are very forward for an Ultrasone, though I find the highs to be slightly too aggressive and overbearing at times, though it's not as bad as most people say they are. It's a very fun headphone, without the bass drowning the music like the PRO 900 and the ultra recessed mids of the HFI 580. I also think they are very comfortable because of the velour padding and that they look great and very sleek. These are extremely easy to drive headphones, and I don't understand why people say these need a lot of power to run, as I can run it directly through my MacBook Air and get amazing results. Out of my EF2A amp, I don't hear much of a difference at all compared to unamped. I will buy a small E6 for these to maybe get a slightly louder sound out of my smartphone, but if you cannot afford an amp for these, don't worry, they run fine without one. I need to get a cable extender because the straight cable is very short. Comes with a sturdy carrying case, two cables (one straight, one coiled), a manual, a test CD and an extra set of velour pads. It's an amazing headphone, highly recommended. I as well want to thank BH for their great service and fast shipping, will buy from you again!

After trashing another pair of sony 7506s, I decided to try something different. After researching various reviews from Location Sound Recordists, I decided to invest in a pair of Ultra Sones.

The sound is incredible. No "false or added" base like the Sonys. What you hear is what is being recorded... the truth!
Earpads are a little tight, but should break in with more use. Weight is minimal. If you work as a sound professional you owe it to yourself to check out Ultra Sones.

I can't begin to explain how good the sound is, but I'm hearing new things in songs I thought I knew for years. There is slightly too much high end on certain songs (only a few I've noticed so far) but at the same time, the incredible low end clarity will blow you out of the water, no matter to what you're listening. Running with no EQ and still sound great, can't recommend these enough.

One small pet peve is the cord connection, which is on the bottom of the left side; just a bit too long and rubs my should some, can be a little annoying if worn for a long time.

I am a production sound mixer based in LA Ca. I record for movies, TV, commercials, and the web. These headphone are wonderful. They are very comfortable and have really good noise cancellation. They sound beautiful. They do not feel like regular headphones on your ears or sound like them either as what you hear sounds like it is coming from a speaker in the room you are in rather than from a pair of headphones. I highly recommend them to any person who wants to really listen to sound not just hear it.

I want to note that I didn't check compact, however that is not something I look for in a headphone.

Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Closed-Back Professional Headphones:

I'm an audio engineer. I've used all sorts of headphones: Shure, Sony, AKG, Sennheiser, etc. They all compare to these 'cans, but nothing has the clarity, dynamic range, or flat response. If you want the best, these are surely it. For the love of god don't buy something by Bose when you can get these for far cheaper and better.

Lots of people buy beat, but you cant compare the sound and the quality of this 750's. they're not cheap but I would buy them again and again over the beats. I don't buy cause of trend, but because of quality and price.

Comments about Ultrasone PRO 750 Closed-Back Professional Headphones:

I am engaged in video installation – many hours daily I spend in ear-phones. Also I listen to music in formats FLAC and WAV. Took PRO 750 instead of old Technics RP-F300.
Ultrasone surpasses them almost in all indicators.
Pure sound, wide stereobase, the big dimensions of sounding, good soft average basses. There is no bottom bass a little.
The only thing in what is better Technics – they aren't felt at all on a head, and in Ultrasone the head in some hours is tired. Probably, it becomes better in due course.
A little there is no depth of a scene, but fine high frequencies and good sound insulation.
                          Design strong enough.
                          Stylish design.
                          Soft headphone earpad.
Listening of qualitative music in them gives pleasure to me and the wife. Especially from CD Rega and headfones amplifier. You start to hear various subtleties and nuances of music.
How it is necessary to use ear-phones in the evening of the house, the closed variant was necessary to me.
I considered Audiotechnica 50 and Beyerdynamic 770, but have chosen more expensive Ultrasone because they protect ears.
Pleasant addition are two cables, a strong case and spare soft headphone earpad.
Ear-phones are good for amateur listening of music, are ideal for games and video as create a volume beautiful sound, are good for classics, tool music, pop, for fate there is no rigidity a little. For professional music it is better to use the monitor.
Result: if the closed ear-phones are necessary to you, you don't need monitor listening of music and protect the ears, in given price category Ultrasone the best variant.
