Comments about Numark C3FX 5-Channel 19" Rack Mountable DJ Mixer with Effects:
I use this product for doing karaoke shows on a weekly basis and have purchased 4 of them. It has been a pretty good little mixer. Has 4 mic inputs so you have plenty of mics for the singers. I only use 3 mics so that way I have a channel left for the karaoke music and one channel for the background music between singers. It has has a variety of effects you can use although I really only use 2 of them for karaoke. I did have one of the boards I purchased go bad within about one month, but I am going to be sending it back in for replacement. The other boards I have not had a problem with so far. If you are looking for a board that will give you a lot of control over the vocals and music this is not the board for you. This is a very basic board with very little control except your standard bass, mid, and treble on the channels. Overall I gave this board a 4 star, because you just don't find very many boards geared towared karoake that are small like this. Otherwise you would have to go for a smaller Allen & Heath, Mackie, Soundcraft, or Yamaha board. Hope this helps.
