I use this paddle to control my computer during Powerpoint-type presentations.
Sadly, the state of the art for projectors is stand-alone, so a gadget like this is necessary to avoid having a separate operator.
What I really like is the timer. It gives me a clue about when to wrap up the presentation (I tend to ramble).

The VP4560 works as advertised. It's very easy to set up and has worked well right out of the box. The stopwatch function (which has a backlight for dark rooms) is great for keeping track of the time without looking at your watch. The buttons are positioned intuitively, and feel solid enough.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the ON/OFF slider switch on the side (used to guard against accidental button pushing and battery draining while storing it in your pocket or briefcase) feels a little flimsy. I haven't actually had any trouble with it, but it feels like a slight knock could cause it to switch on.
Two things would make it perfect: 1) a reassuring click into a solid ON/OFF position, and 2) a battery life indicator.
