The Pelican iM2500 Storm Trak Case with Padded Dividers (Black) is an injection-molded case made of HPX high performance resin, that is virtually unbreakable, dent-resistant and shatter-resistant. It is tough, rugged, lightweight, airtight and watertight. There is a permanently attached Vortex valve that automatically adjusts air pressure without letting in water, and won't unscrew from the case. Press & Pull latches open with the push of a button, yet stay closed securely under impact or stress. The case has unbreakable molded-in hasps that allow the addition of standard size padlocks. It has hinges with integrated feet that hold fast under impact, and create a flat surface for upright stability. It is carried by a double-layered, soft-grip, solid-core handle, lightweight retractable, telescoping handle and rugged in-line wheels.
This case has a cushioning system with movable padded dividers and "hook and loop" closure. There is a convoluted foam pad in the lid.

Comments about Pelican iM2500 Storm Case with Padded Dividers (Black):
This is my first Storm/Pelican case and I am very impressed with the quality, which is on a par with Pelican models. I like the latches better on the Storm than the ones on my Pelicans, they are much smoother and easier to use, yet seem to be very snug. Time will tell if they hold up as well as the Pelican ones since I must say my older Pelicans are approaching 10 years and though marked from travel they are on their fourth or fifth insert. I also prefer the two rod pull out handle system on the iM2500 over the full sheet of the Pelican 1510 model.

A super robust and sturdy trolley that you can trust.
The only down side is that it weighs a bit, but this doesn't obscure its overall performance at all.

I use this case to store all of my HDSLR and audio gear and it works wonderfully. Watertight and extremely durable, my first week of owning this case it fell down a flight of stairs and survived a long trek through a rain storm and not a single piece of gear was damaged.
The size of the case was just right for me. I prefer to travel light with my gear. I can fit my SLR, 4 lenses, Marantz recorder, mics, and shoulder rig all in the case which cuts down on a lot of extra baggage.
I give it 4 out of 5 stars only for the slightly higher price but it was definitely a solid investment that will last me a long time.

I own 2 iM2500 Storm Cases and used them to move all my camera equipment from Texas to N. Carolina. They were moved in a trailer and no damage. I would take these things anywhere in any condition. I prefer the dividers not the foam. Love the latches. There is a lot to love here, perfect size with wheels. This is it.

For those that have purchased a Storm Case before, then you know what you are getting. A great roller handle and easy to use latches (in my opinion, when compared to a Pelican).
Perfect for carry on. Use it to roll around my DSLR, lenses, laptop in the lid and other various nick knacks. My big camera sits on top of the case and I traverse the airports with ease.
Weighs about 7 lbs. empty, if that is too much for you then lift some weights or buy something else. This case will outlive anything else you could buy. Weight to protection is the best I've seen. And since it has a lifetime guarantee I don't have to worry about buying anything else again.
Besides, you should mostly be rolling this case around anyway.
Fits easily under a seat if it has to leaving room for your legs still.
Padded inserts do just what you would expect.
Definitely pick this up if you need to move your gear around an airport or if you just need something smaller to protect a dsl setup and lenses.

I just purchased this but I am very satisfied with this case. I needed something that could do a good job protecting my gear when traveling. It is very sturdy, well padded, and I really like the wheels for portability. The only thing I think that I am not totally satisfied with are the velcro dividers aren't quite wide enough to reach from one side of the case to the other. I

I purchased this case so I could stop carrying multiple bags of gear to wedding shoots. I can fit three camera bodies, two flashes, all of my primary lenses, as well as batteries and other misc. stuff.
I also love the fact that its dimensions make it so that I can take it onto an airplane as carry on.
It is, however, very heavy. If I had to carry it around all day, my arms would be very sore. It has rollers though, so I can just extend the arm, and roll it wherever I need to go.

I use the iM2500 as storage for my photo equipment and sometimes for commuting my gear to a location shoot. Its fantastically durable, and exudes quality. Only down side is the interior dimmensions are taken WITHOUT the foam dividers installed... actual interior space is 2" reduced in each height, width, and length.
