Comments about iM2975 Storm Trak Case with Foam (Black):

This is a great rugged case. I shoot a lot of video in remote locations and am always traveling with lots of gear. I bought this case to house my Cinevate DSLR Core rig and necessary attachments. Everything fits great and is secure and protected.

The new press and pull latches are much easier to open and close than the other latches on other pelican cases I have and are secure and solid. I also love the locking pull out handle for rolling it around.

Over all this is a great case and has served me well.

I never have to worry about anything when inside this case. The latches on the case are very secure yet very easy to open, easier than other models. The 5 layer foam inserts make it easy to cut precisely to the shape of your products all the way down.

I needed a larger case for some new television camera equipment I have. This pelicase was the perfect size and does a great job of keeping it all safe and secure. You have to trust Pelican cases!

Im using this product for a telescope and it fits perfect. It's sturdy, secure and easy to move around. Unlike the last reviewer, this is a pelican case. The box it ships in doesn't say it but it's clearly marked on the case itself.

Hardest part was cutting out the shape into the foam but the instructions gave some good tips which made it easier.

Comments about iM2975 Storm Trak Case with Foam (Black):

I use this case to transport and store monolights, speedlights, Pocket Wizard triggering devices, and accessories. The case is the perfect size for the trunk of most cars, or the back seats of most sedans. The pluck foam works like a champ and can be shaped to the contents you put in the box; measure twice, pluck once! The latches, weather sealing, handles, and wheels are satisfactory. The case does not have the RIBS commonly molded into all Pelican cases; this is a Hardigg case, so I expected it to be a bit different, but it is sub-standard when compared to a Pelican case of similar size. Without the ribs, and what appears to be thinner plastic, this case tends to flex a bit until it is latched closed. The thinner plastic does result in a slight weight savings vs. a Pelican, so that is a good thing. I think the product is properly labeled as a "Storm Case", as it will survive a storm indeed. However, the Pelican cases will survive Natural Disasters of all types from Mother Nature. As for the pluck foam, be sure to keep them in order as you take them out of the case; they are tappered towards the bottom slightly, and if you get them out of whack, you will have problems!!!

Comments about iM2975 Storm Trak Case with Foam (Black):

I purchased this case to hold my Canon XF300 and accessories. Turns out it's somewhat bigger than I expected, can probably hold 3 of these cameras and all accessories, but one can never have enough space. Probably too big to bring into a theater (unload, then store elsewhere).

The build quality is excellent, and the 5 latches won't likely ever fail. Each latch has a release button, so it will never open by accident. Very solid design.

The cube foam is as one would expect, but keep in mind that each sheet is slightly different sized due to the box's slight taper. The cubes do all match up, the foam's outer edge simply changes in size, so keep them in order when shaping the foam.

This likely applies to any cube-foam case: If you make your items spaces too snug, the foam sheets will come of the box out with the item, so may need some glue to hold the foam in place, or make the cut-out a little looser.

The wheels and retractable tow handle are very handy.

The depth of the box is handy, as I can store all of my microphones straight up-and-down, to save a large amount of space.

I bought this to transport my MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D Printer and it's awesome. I can fit the MakerBot along with a spool of plastic and my interface board. I bring it on a plane, and fully loaded, it weighs 47 pounds, so there is no extra baggage fees. If you travel with your MakerBot definitely buy this because it's the perfect size and will protect your investment.

Using it to store all my tailgating supplies. It is weather sealed and is easy to maneuver due to the wheels and handle. This will last a lifetime. Much better than the cheaply made cases I have previously used that always wind up cracking or breaking.

The Stormcase i purchase is fantastik ! I use to have Portabrace soft bags but all throught the years it was getting very heavy to carry and the zippers were broke. Now with the Stormcase that can roll it`s perfect .The lifetime warranty is super too, i dont have to worry about it anymore if ever happends to brake .I already have a Stormcase since 5 years and it still like the new one i just bought.
