This is a Lowel Rifa eX 55 Pro, TO-83 Hard Case Kit. Compact, lightweight, and self-contained, the 500 watt Rifa-Lite eX 55 uses a simple umbrella design to achieve its quick and easy setup and strike capabilities. It has a heat-resistant 21 x 21" (53 x 53 cm) removable front diffusion screen. The eX series of Rifa lights enables you to change out the fixture's socket, to use cooler-running fluorescent bulbs.
With its high-intensity #2 reflector and prismatic glass, the tiny focusable Pro-light is more efficient than a Fresnel of equal wattage, yet it gives an exquisite even light, with Fresnel-like shadow quality. It can be used as a low-level key light or accent light, fill light (with diffusion), or backlight. In addition to a wide variety of customizing accessories, its versatility can be increased by adding a DC adapter cable and swapping its bulb for use as a camera-top fixture.

Comments about Lowel Rifa eX 55 Pro, TO-83 Hard Case Kit:
I got this kit to light interviews mostly, but also to just shoot indoors. I am impressed by the rifa ex and the accompanying stand. I am still getting used to the pro-light but the fact that barndoors and gel frame are included in this kit makes it that much more versatile. I will be adding a few things as soon as I am able to, including a scrim for the pro light and an egg crate for the rifa. So far, the quality of the lights are fantastic though I wish the pro light had the power switch on the cable instead of on the back of the fixture. Not a big deal though. Can't wait to get my hands on a 3-bulb flo fixture for the rifa. I also think the TO-83 case was well worth it as there's a bit of extra room - probably enough for another pro light and stand which I may purchase in the near future. Overall, I am happy with the purchase though if I had to do it all again, a three light kit would have been tempting.
