The black BodyGuard Pro from LensCoat can save your camera from the aggravation of scratches, dings and bumps normally associated with everyday use. It works with the lens attached and will keep your camera safe from dust, dirt, and other contaminants. The touch fastened closure is easy to install and remove.
It is designed to fit pro camera bodies with a lens attached, prosumer bodies with the optional body grip installed or SLR camera bodies with extended power winder and cameras with L-brackets mounted. This version comes in a matte all-black finish to better blend in where desirable. Or, it can be used just for its protection value.

Comments about LensCoat BodyGuard Pro (Black):
A little difficult to get on with large lens installed but once in place does a great job of giving body protection without having to remove the lens. Cover removes very easily.

Comments about LensCoat BodyGuard Pro (Black):
I'm using this on a Canon 50D with an extended (Canon) battery pack and right hand grip strap.
The cover installs and removes easily and offers great scratch and dent protection, (though I don't think it would help allot with a "high drop" accident).

Comments about LensCoat BodyGuard Pro (Black):
I was worried when other reviews stated that this cover is exceptionally tight. However, I have a Canon 5D MKII with battery grip, hand strap, extended eyepiece, quick release plate, and a neck strap, and this cover easily slid over it all on the first try. I've read that different production batches can be slightly different sizes, so no guarantees, but this is plenty big for me. I'm sure I could even add a compact GPS to the hot shoe and have it still fit (tightly, but it would fit). It's a great camera body cover that pulls on and off easily. Some of the small lens covers from LensCoat can feel a little cheap, but for protecting a body or a larger lens, they make great products.

Comments about LensCoat BodyGuard Pro (Black):
I bought this protective cover from you as there are none like this available in Scotland. Friends who are snappers like myself, eagerly waited to see the product with a view to aquireing one for themselves. The material that this is made from is very good and could afford scuff and minor bump protection to my Sony Alpha 700 with attached extra battery grip, but it's design doesn't allow me to fit it while a camera strap is attached and that is the way that I wanted to have it while my camera was being carried ready for use. I have to say that this product is of no use to me at all in it's present design state! It could be improved by changing the cover slightly with additional slots to allow the use of an attached shoulder strap. Sorry no recommendation to friends.
