I use this to transfer images from my camera to computer, and to do firmware updates to my camera.
My system immediately recognizes the drive assignment and I can update the card to my hearts content.

I wish it had a light to indicate activity, but it seems to work fine and data read/write is very quick. Good product.

zero! this thing is so slow!!!!!!!!! 45 minutes to transfer 16Go. I bought another brand, and it's going much faster.

I can read from and write to a CF card. Not much more to say than that.

Just plug it up and it works well. We've used it for CF and SD cards on a Mac. No problems. I like that it comes with a USB cable so there's nothing else to purchase.

Good SD card read/write and if I ever need another format, now I have an interface for it too.[...] online driver download was simple. Lining the card up for insertion can be a challenge but I'd definitely make the same choice again.

I bought this for the sole purpose of transferring images from my CF cards to my computer without having to fire up my laptop (for which I have CF to PCMCIA adapter).

Download time for a single 7MB file:
Laptop with PCMCIA adapter: 7 seconds.
Computer using this device: 107 seconds.

Pros:
At least it didn't corrupt the memory card.

Cons:
To slow to be of any use to me whatsoever.

Can't ask for much more from a memory card reader. I only use SD and CF so I can't comment on using it with other media types. However for this price it can't be beat!

Fast and easy uploads. Uploads 10 times faster then transferring from camera to computer. Good size and can take all the right cards. Functions well and is reliable.

You get what you paid for. However, you figure it could be a little faster. 8G 15MBS (old ultra 2 cards) takes 38 mins with raw files. also the slot for CF cards is too big. It makes you think you will break pins easly. Would have spent the extra cash had I not spent so much already that day!

All PROS–No CONSSolid performance at the right price.Works as described.Cable more than ample length.PLUG & PLAY.Originally I bought the IOGEAR 56-in-1 card reader to use with an LG8250 from [...]. It was disabled by Verizon (from my understanding) causing MP3s to be transferred as SOUND files when using Bluetooth. The phone had been damaged and I cannot verify that it works with the LG8250 but MP3s transfer flawlessly from my Mac to my Motorola Barrage using a MicroSD card.As well, my girlfriend's PC is not Bluetooth capable. We no longer need to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter to tranfer photos between her computer and phone.

Too soon to tell if it will hold up in a busy real estate office, but so far it does very well.

Use it to load a card for pictures into the frame purchased a few days before. No frills, just performance. Expect equal efficiency with other sizes of cards as the need arises.

So far this product was worth the price however the only complaint I have it is that at first our computers couldn't find or locate the USB and said product not found but after a few times it finally took it. Not sure if that was related to our computers or the product. Other than that once that computer located the card reader it worked just fine.
