I purchased the case for my Canon EF-S 55-250mm lens and it is exactly what I was looking for. The case is provides more support than many of the lens bag options I had seen previously. The case is well made/sturdy construction, and it fits nicely in my camera bag. It also features a handy belt loop. The price was right too! I strongly recommend this case.

Great lens protection
Use product to transport lens if taking limited gear. Provides great protection/padding for lens. But, it is a little bulky and tough to carry on belt due to its size.

Fits Canon EF-S 55-250 IS II perfectly. Protects lens from damage. Item description stating 'velveteen lining' seems misleading, it just looks like the same nylon material used throughout the case but with finer thread.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 10 Lens Case:
I bought this case based on the B&H recomendation for my Canon EF 70-300 IS USM. The lense and caps are more than an inch longer than the case. I have chosen to use the case for carying a shorter lense, with a spare battery, because the case is an excellant product. It is well made with not too much padding, the zippers work well, and the design features all work as intended.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 10 Lens Case:
Everything about it great with one exception. The place they have to put a filter is under a thin mesh on the top, so I'm afraid if the case was inverted the weight of the lens would be directly on the glass filter. It would be nice if it had a hard protector. The case is well made and well worth the money. I would buy more since I keep my filters in separate cases.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 10 Lens Case:
This is really small case, my Canon 35mm L 1.4 barely can be pushed in if you have shade on. Don't expect to be able to pull it out quickly, you 'll have to use some force. All the Canon L glass are pretty big if not bigger than 35L. So consider this before buying. Good to use with Zeiss 50 mm f 2.0. The overall quality is good though, and it seems that it will protect the glass, which can be put, in really well.

Pearstone lens cases do well for protecting your lenses, just don't carry them attached to other gear (backpack), they are not rugged enough for that.

Comments about Pearstone Onyx 10 Lens Case:
I typically use a large backpack to carry all my gear around but sometimes you you dont feel like carrying around everything. Enter this lens case which I use to carry my Canon 100mm f/ 2.0. It works great and I definitely feel that there is satisfactory protection for my camera from rain and moderate drops.
