The Photographic Solutions Sensor Swab Plus with Eclipse for Type 3 Sensors is a reliable cleaning fluid designed to clean CCD/CMOS chips. It is also secure for other optical and imaging surfaces.
The swabs are produced in clean rooms to the highest possible standards . These swabs, coated with Eclipse, a special Tin Oxide cleaning solution, leave no visible residue (less than 5 parts per million (ppm).
When used correctly, and in accordance with instructions from both Photographic Solutions and your camera manufacturer, this product will not cause any damage to your sensor.

I have a Leica DMR and it creates so good 3D feeling than any of exisitng latest DSLR. Recently, I found there are quite a lot of dirt points on the sensor and some of them are hardly to be removed by regular methods. I start to search at B&H website and found this Magic swab. It is so easy to use and very effective, only in minutes, all of these dirt points gone! I would like to recommend to others who have the same issues on their sensors! reat product with very reasonable price! Only need to keep in mind - while you sweep from one end of sensor to another end, do not leave sensor and then sweep from this end back t another end, it is all. I only use one swab and obtain very clean sensor.

I had a few dust spots on my sensor filter, and tried these swabs (after watching their video on how to use their product). Well, after using an entire pack of these swabs, I ended up replacing the dust spots with long streaks, which ultimately I ended up having to have professionally removed. My guess is that the Eclipse that was preloaded on the swab had dried up in the packagae. If you have to, get the swabs plain and apply the Eclipse at the time of use (2 drops, that's all).

Nicely sealed and easy to use sensor swabs. Photographic Solutions makes it cut and dry to clean your sensor. Pre moistened, individually sealed. Just pop your mirror up and follow the instructions!

Used it on my 5D. The size match with the sensor, but it doesn't clean the dust at the corners. I have to use additional kit to clean the corners.

I would give it a 5 star rating, but these little things are expensive. I was able to clean the sensors with one try, which was nice. I paired these swabs with a rocket blower. within 10 minutes I was able to clean my sensor with no issues. I called the local camera shop and they were going to charge $50 per sensor to clean. I was able to get these swabs and the rocket blower for just under 50 and I will be able to clean each sensor 4 times. So even though they are expensive this was the most cost effective solution I could find.

I cringe every time I need to use one of these, but this brand of sensor cleaner seems to work the best and leaves behind the least offensive of residues. Although for oils flung up by the mirror mechanism on my D3s a pre cleaning may be necessary with a different type solution. The pure methanol in these swabs tends to just push the oils around.

I used these for the first time to clean the ubiquitous dark spots that appeared on my new Nikon D600 sensor within fewer than 1000 exposures. A swipe of one of these swabs back and forth is enough to eliminate the swabs; you just have to be careful to follow the directions to avoid adding any other dirt to your sensor. It's nice not to have to deal with the cleaning solution separately.

This worked perfect. I had a few stubborn pieces of dust on the sensor of my 5dm2 that were visible in images. I was unable to remove the dust with air, or with a dry swab. One of these swabs with Eclipse did the trick. The sensor is near perfect now. This saved me the headache of sending the camera in for for Pro Services.

I regularly use a bulb blower to clean out the dirt and dust from my Sony A850, but sometimes that isn't enough to clean the sensor. On a recent trip to Badlands National Park a large dark spot showed up in my photographs. There was something semi-smeared on the sensor that wouldn't blow off. WIth trepidation I got out the Sensor Swabs. It took 3 swabs to completely clean the sensor but it came clean with no damage done. There are differences in the swabs both in size and the solution on the swab. Make sure you get the right swab for your camera. And follow the directions carefully.

this product can permanently damage your sensor. it must be used carefully as the swab will drag dirt across and scratch.
although it saves a lot of money, it is nerve-racking.
also better too much liquid than not enough so having the small liquid bottle around is handy.also directions must be followed,and never swab twice with same side

I was a little apprehensive about cleaning the censor myself, but these Sensor Swabs were quick and easy to use. One swipe each way was all it takes. Most of the particles were removed with the first cleaning. I did clean the sensor a second time to remove a few remaining small particles.

I had a few dust spots on my sensor filter, and tried these swabs (after watching their video on how to use their product). Well, after using an entire pack of these swabs, I ended up replacing the dust spots with long streaks, which ultimately I ended up having to have professionally removed.
