The Holga 183-120 Holgawood Medium Format 120N Camera with Built-in Lens (Violet) is desired by art photographers the world over and is reminiscent of the Diana camera of the 1960s and 70s. The characteristic vignetting focuses the viewer's eye and adds to visual impact. The standard features from the Holga 120S still include: Hot shoe flash sync, uses 120 roll film for 16 - 6cm x 4.5cm frames per roll. It's perfect for classroom instruction, personal image-making and fine art photos.

Holgas are now available in a Hollywood series. Each camera  comes in a different color and  represents a moment in Hollywood time. Along with the camera comes a story reflecting the movie theme of that particular camera.

Still retaining all of those fabulous and unique features that made the Holga 120S world famous, this updated model, the Holga 120N, takes Holga photography to the next level.

A Holga has four focus marks on the lens barrel. Simply rotate the barrel to the setting that most closely corresponds to your situation. Feel free to use your own setting that might fall between these icons.

Comments about 183-120 Holgawood 120N Medium Format Camera (Violet):

This is a real camera in every respect-it's the modern day Brownie!!!!! I just ran a roll of Velvia 100f thru this and I'm amazed at the contrast, color saturation and sharpness of the images that this plastic lens "toy" camera produces. If you've been using a SLR 35mm camera for years, and were born around the time I was {1963}, then you need to relive your childhood days of the Brownie!!!

Comments about 183-120 Holgawood 120N Medium Format Camera (Violet):

I bought this camera to use up three rolls of Velvia 120 film, with the intention of possibly modifying it to accept a polaroid back. Though the simplicity of the controls initially surprised me, I was used to modern gadgetry after all, I was very happy with my purchase. It's plastic, and not meant to be perfect--what else do you want?

Comments about 183-120 Holgawood 120N Medium Format Camera (Violet):

I've shot one roll of TX film through this camera, and I am pleased with the results. There are some light leaks here and there, but it adds to the uniqueness of the results. 400 speed film is the way to go and be sure to err on the side of caution by setting the camera for cloudy skies. I like for my negatives to be a bit over exposed. I'm still experimenting, though.

This Holgawood Holga 120Ns are so much fun for the price. Both the cameras and the photos they produce are head turners. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a quirky camera for a hobby.

I love my DLSR, but this camera is "re-teaching" me to slow down and really look at what I'm shooting.
Good pics. Easier to get film than my Imperial. Also, who doesn't smile when they see you whip out your purple toy camera! :)

I do not know nothing about camera's or photoshooting. But my girl friend has photographer's eyes. We have a 8 years old digital camera which she dislikes. Before I buy a replacement, I figured a lomo camera might make her happy. And it did. She likes it very much.
So, if you need gift idea, I recommend this.
Plus, I choose this color because it matches my girl friend's purse. :) it's a plus!
