Comments about On-Stage CM01 - 5/8" 27-thread to 1/4" Camera and Microphone Stand Adapter:
Generally, I'm not a fan of the OnStage brand, but I go this to mount a GoPro onto a mic stand, or alternatively, a GoPro on a Beachtek on a mic stand, and it is really great. I can't speak to its quality over time, but you can really dial in the right angle and the larger surface area which is padded gives you confidence that your gear will be secure.

I bought this adapter to fix a small LCD projector to a microphone stand. Both the 1/4" screw and the ball and socket give a positive connection and lock firmly making a sturdy stand for this very small projector.

i bought a couple of these since we have 0 camera tripods and lot's of mic stands. I use 1 of these to mount my beloved Simpson 886-2 dB meter and the other to hold the Zoom H4n recorder. Solid!

Comments about On-Stage CM01 - 5/8" 27-thread to 1/4" Camera and Microphone Stand Adapter:
I can't say enough good stuff about this adaptor, but I'll try. Simple, small/compact, well made and easy to use. If you're a musician like I am, the CM01 is a no brainer.
When I first looked at it on the web I thought is was a great idea, using a tripod at gig's means you're taking space. When the CM01 arrived I was amazed at how small the thing is and how well its made, better than expected, which doesn't usually happen with gear.
With the CM01 Im now free to use a round based mic stand to mount my video recorder, the round base means I have more placement option due to the small foot print, the tripod is a hassle compared to this. I honestly cannot find fault w/this product. The only weakness might be the plastic cover on the wing screw, but that would be easily replaceable.
I've been buying music gear from retailers over the phone since 1979. As usual I checked B&H and they had the CM01 in stock at a great price. Dealing with B&H is a sure thing every time, its why I keep coming back, I know they won't mess up my order.
B &H sales people are knowledgeable and helpful w/o being stressed, it makes a difference, they provide peace of mind no charge... you hang up the phone and you have the feeling your order is going to arrive w/o a hitch, not true with other retailers, you know what Im talking about.

What a bargin when you consider the quality of materials and tough construction. I am using it on a boom pool for hand holding a mic out of the scene when shooting video. I have attached a Zoom H1 handy recorder/mic to it and the system together is light and very portable. I highly recomment this adapter.

This is an absolutely indispensable itme for musicians who own small digital field recorders. I use it with my Roland R26 which is one of the largest portable field recorders on the market. It has absolutely no problem holding it firmly in position. I've only had it a short time but I expect it will stand up to the rigors of regular use.

I needed a way to connect as small hand held recorder to the boom on a mic stand. Using this little gizmo I can put the recorder any where I want it.
I wouldn't try to use it with a full sized camera, camcorder or heavy device. I think the weight could cause it to be slip.

I am for the most part a one-man band when it comes to shooting video. When I set up a scene I often use a mic boom stand to hold my Rode's Video Mic while I monitor my DSLR camera. Before I purchased this adapter I used the mic handle that came with my Video Mic and the standard mic clip on the mic stand. What a pain that was to keep the mic in place and pointing correctly at the talent. Now, with this adapter I am able to position the Video Mic exactly where I want it thanks to the swivel ball on this product. I especially like that it is well constructed and solid feeling. No complaints with this item :)

I purchased this product to get overhead camera angles and To mount my Tascam DR100 Mark II (Another awesome product) on a mic stand. It works great with those things. It is perfect for mounting any kind of small video camera where tripods can't reach. Why four stars? When I'm shooting video, I use all DSLR cameras. This thing is WAAAAAAAAAY too flimsy to support them. I wouldn't trust a $5000-$7000 camera on this thing. It needs to be sturdier for me to get more use out of it. Overall, great product for anyone with a digital recorder and/or small camcorder. For any professional grade cameras, this is a no-no.

Best mic to camera adapter kit, bar none. Offers all the flexibility that is required. Might not work very well for heavier cameras, but it is the best for Flip type cameras or anything of that nature!! I personnaly use it with a Zoom H2n recorder, and it works like a charm!

I use this for my small video camera with a boom mic stand. Since I always pack mic stands with me it is way easier than bringing a camera tripod. Plus it's easy to just grab it and hold it overhead for those cool high angle shots. I love that it's small and constructed of metal, not cheap plastic. I have yet to find anything that I don't like about this mount. I plan on adding several more to my next order.

After hunting around for pieces to fit together to convert a mic stand to a flex camera mount, this was finally found.
This will allow you to mount cameras still and vid and most of the digital recorders. Add a shoe mount and you can adapt a Rode Vid mic to your mic stand. Out of the pack, you have to losen it up and work it a bit, then all is smooth and locks properly.

I used the CM01 - Camera and Recorder Microphone Stand Adapter by On Stage on my on stage stand and it's work with the microphone clamp, even it is very snuggy on anything that is thin as the plastic by where all the outlets are on the back inside the pocket of the keyboard for to hold the mike clamp, even on a PHOTOFLEX extension bar that hold the reflector on the BOGEN light as just like a boom pole on the microphone stand for if you have a microphone stand that has a boom pole as the same with the mike clamp, even there's NO PROBLEMS at all.
