Very good product for this price!
I don't how long the stand will last, as soon as it's put together don't touch it again, the knobs are a bit fragile and the tip of the screws were already rusty.

It still doing the job tho, actually pretty well, nothing bad to say about it, and it's the best price i found on the net!

I wanted to put a 17" laptop over a small field mixer and hard-disk recorder on my folding sound desk to log takes at video shoots and to display an RTA app while recording, and this doesn't really cut it. I wish the angle was adjustable - I'm concerned my laptop will slide off past the tiny stopper rails. I also wish there was a wider flat area underneath to put my field mixer and recorder. I'll have to try to prop them up an inch or so with a book to get them to fit between the lower supports. And one more thing - the knobs were a bit corroded when it arrived and I had to clamp a vise grip on the rod and use a pliers to get the knobs off and the rod got a bit scratched up. I don't feel this works well with a large laptop, but maybe to raise a small notebook computer off a desk it might be somewhat useful.

I use this Stand in my studio. It's an excellent and portable solution if your looking for a laptop stand, the foam and rubber provided on top gives the stand the grip it needs to safely support equipment. My only minor gripe with the unit is the size, it's perfect for supporting a 13inch laptop, but anything larger and it may not be the choice for you.

I use this stand in my basement studio, works great. Not easily adjustable but I don't need it to be, great price. Worth it if this is all you need.

4 stars only because it doesn't break down all that easily. Must be assembled/disassembled each time if you want to transport it compactly. That aside, it holds my Dell laptop, 15.4", no problem.

As a professional photographer, I spend a lot of time each day in front of my computer.
Just had my externatl monitor go bad. Decided now was not the time to replace, so wanted to start using my MacBook Pro display instead.
Very accustomed to the height of a mounted monitor and the only solution was to raise the MacBook to eye level. Already had an external keyboard I liked.
The LPT5000 looked like it would do the job. And it did. Once I had determined the correct height, assembly was a snap.
Good value and great utility value.

It would be nice if it went a little lower. I guess it could be cut to go smaller, but that's not easy for everyone. Overall fantastic!
