This allows you to take wide angle shots, such as indoor group shots, architecture, or landscape photography. To use this lens with the P6000 Camera, the Nikon UR-E21 Converter Adapter (part# 25793) is required.

The WC-E76 0.76x Wide-Angle Converter Lens came just in time for the Fall foliage peak season in northeastern Pa. Well made, Nikon has always been a lens master, and it gave a 21mm perspective to work from, which was exciting. I also was able to zoom with it on. Nikon should come out with another converter lens to extend the telephoto end of maximum zoom on the camera lens.

This converter is great for group portraits, landscape shots and shots of buildings and interiors. The downside is that when installed, the camera is no longer pocket size.

To me this camera is more of a scenic camera which I bought to take along on backpacking trips in the Sierras. The Wide angle lens really makes this camera stand apart from the others and is giving some great photos - I love it. If you own this camera, buy the wide angle lens - it will make both your photos and your camera look cooler! It really completes the package.
