I bought this product for my skateboard and snowboard videos. I have the head mount, but the chest mount was less for me to worry about when riding. The great thing is it's light and fits perfectly around my large frame of a body. I haven't found a down side and hope to continue using for a long time. Since receiving it I have had more ideas including a rafting trip and zip line.

I used it for the first time this past weekend and liked it. It fits into your pocket and its very easy to put on quickly. The only thing about it is that it makes for a bumpy video. It was the first time I played with it though so there might be some ways to combat this issue. All in all i thought it was a good purchase. Way cooler than a helmet cam.

i've used it once for a run. It sits very well on the torso and it did not bother me at all during the run. However a run will make the video very bumby, so it prop mostly suited for activity involving less hopping.

Just used this on a skiing trip. It is very easy to take on/off and doesn't get in the way. Since it's elastic, it's easy to move so you can make sure your gopro is filming before you start down a run. It would be nice if you didn't have to look, but there are not many options for the Hero 1 there. If you're taking it skiing though, just remember that when you're trying to go fast or ski aggressively that you tend to bend down. I got a lot of footage looking straight at my skis the first day. Overall, great purchase. The lower point of view definitely makes it worth getting over a typical helmet mount.

Much better solution when riding bike. I tried the handle bar mount but had to much vibration and road noise. This harness is clearly the right solution. Also works really well for paddle boarding.

Purchased this to go with my new GoPro Hero 3 Black edition for my winter trip to Vail, CO. Just got back from a week of skiing, and was very impressed with the overall quality and fit. Was easily adjustable to go over my jacket, and held camera firmly against my chest. It even took a nice snowy crash without any problems. I would definately recommend this for any skiing activity.

When I ordered this, I wondered what could be special bout it. I was pleased to find that this chest harness comes with "breast plate" that keeps the camera much steadier than you might expect. The elastic straps are very high quality and adjustable across a wide range. This is probably the best harness I have ever seen.

Mounting the GoPro to your body with this harness gives you the frame of reference of your arms. I use it for mountain biking and skiing clips and it works well! I mount a couple of GoPro short extension arms to get the camera further away from the harness plate in order to aim the camera higher. If you don't use these, my experience has been that the shots are simply too low, you're unable to see far enough ahead to be useful. This is my second "Chesty", the first one became stretched out with use (2 years) and is no longer able to be tightened enough to avoid bouncing. It's a good perspective!
