The Marathon MA-ONYX1640 Flight Road Mixer Case (Black) is a vinyl laminated 9mm plywood case a with high-density foam interior made to protect and transport a Mackie Onyx 1640 mixing console or other similar size mixer. It meets ATA (Air Transport Association) 300 specifications for transit cases. The case has recessed, chrome butterfly latches and an easy locking fit and tongue. There are heavy, powerful ball corners and industrial dual anchor rivets. The case is transported by recessed spring loaded chrome with rubber grip handles. There are rubber feet secured with bolt washers and t-nuts.

This case does not fit the Mackie Onyx 1640i, It may fit the older 1640, but the rear of the console did not fit with in the height of the case. After I cut some of the foam out, the 1640i worked great.
