With the Furman PL-Plus DMC protecting my equipment, I can play my music without the stress of getting a power spike or low voltage. The power conditioner also took out a "hum" in my system that the competitor couldn't eliminate. Would recommend this product to everyone!!

Comments about Furman PL-PLUS DMC Power Conditioner with Voltmeter/Ammeter:
Using this product to power most of a church sound system. We are running a 2kW and a 1kW power amplifier with a handful of accessories and getting nowhere near the 15 amp threshold. It is easy to use and the voltage and current display have come in handy troubleshoot a wall outlet that we were getting to much variation in voltage. (If you want to filter that you have to step up to the furman voltage regulator, as this just monitors voltage and shuts everything down if the upper or lower bound is exceeded). Only downfall is that the lights don't turn a full 360 degrees, since I like to mount wireless controllers above my power source toward the top of the rack, and all else below, and now I can't turn the led lamps to shine on stuff mounted higher in the rack.

I am using the PL+ DMC for my music rack (preamp, effects, compressor) and it protect perfectly (so far) my music gear.
It is heavy and powerfull. May be I shoukd have gone for the 20amp version.
In any case it is prime quality.
You cannot go wrong with Furman anyway.

Comments about Furman PL-PLUS DMC Power Conditioner with Voltmeter/Ammeter:
If you are constantly playing in different types of venues where power fluctuates, then you need this product! Before I bought my Furman I was constantly running into problems where I was having to deal with buzzing ground loops caused by lighting, air handlers and bad power connections that would fluctuate and even spike. My problems were solved when I started running all my equipment (3 keyboards, wireless monitors, wireless mics, and computers) through my power conditioner. Not only have I gotten rid of all background noise, but the "EVS" system has saved my gear not once but twice from Voltage Spikes from venues with bad power. When you own thousands of dollars of gear like I do and you need it protected, then you must spend the few dollars it takes to buy the best protection policy on the market. And for me that was the Furman PL-Plus DMC.

Update to my prior review titled, "So far, great - but time always tells!". Discovered late in the install one of the receptacles on the back panel is dead (3rd one from the right). In speaking with Furman representative, it appears this may be a known problem. RMA provided to return product for replacement (hopefully,, one that has been properly tested before being packaged into a retail carton!).

Comments about Furman PL-PLUS DMC Power Conditioner with Voltmeter/Ammeter:
Living in Silicon Valley one can get a false sense of security regarding the consistency in voltage at a residence. Went with Furman PF-PLUS to protect some high end equipmenent going into my home media rack. Furman power condition mounting ears are compatible with both a Chatsworth and Middle Atlantic 19" racks (vertical spacing is slightly different between these two racks). Digital voltage and amperage display is very crisp & accurate. Interesting to watch receptacle voltage vary over the couse of the day. Unit appears to have been well designed and constructed with thoughtful features in what could be just another commodity product. Would give 5 stars but just installed the unit a week ago.
