Comments about Porta Brace TLQ-46 Quick Tripod/Light Case (Signature Blue):
I'm a commercial still photographer that was looking for a way to transport a minimalist lighting kit for location shoots, mainly portraits. After looking at all kinds of other options I settled on this case and it has more than met my expectations. While certainly not inexpensive, it is well worth the money to me. The quality is exceptional and the case is perfect for my needs. So what do I use it for? I carry three Manfrotto lightstands in it. Two 9 footers and one 5 footer all in the main compartment. Also in this compartment, but inside an interior zippered pocket are the lightstand adaptors which accommodate my Canon Speedlights and umbrellas. In the full length exterior pocket fits three umbrellas of varying sizes. I keep three Canon 580 EX II's in the main compartment all inside their own padded cases that come with the flash units. In an exterior mesh pocket I keep spare AA batteries in clear plastic cases...enough for each Speedlight. Depending on the shoot, I may swap out a thing or two or add in something else. The case has room to spare. I also like the fact that it is rigid even when empty. Great product and worth the money.
