The only reason I bought these is the one on my G12 was kind of dinged up, otherwise, I'm not into playing 'dress-up' with my camera. Fine quality though, just as you would expect with Canon. I wish they were available individually. I will probably never use the other two!

Only bought these as a bit of fun as I had stuff already coming from BH.
They don't really add anything noticeable to the look of the camera. So much so I have sent mine off to an anodiser to be re-colored Red, Purple & Charcoal.
I would only recommend the purchase of these if you have lost the original one that came with the camera.

I bought these rings for my Canon G12. The go on very smoothly and give a little more class to my camera. One has a silver band, one has a gold band, and one is all black. Yes. the one that came with the camera is all black, but that ring is perfectly smooth. The black one in the set, as well as the other two, have a textured side which also addds some interest. I can't say these rings are the most necessary accesssory you will buy, but they are fun, and they give your camera a little boost of importance. Highly recommended.

If you need to replace your existing ring then they're perfect. I was expecting more in terms of "dazzle". The only colored detail is the very thin ring that is highlighted in the photo.

I was in China and the black ring fell off my G11 camera, landing on the ground where I promptly stepped on it by accident. The replacement parts restore the camera's appearance and add a custom touch.
