After having the MacBook Pro for a few years, the battery life really diminished making it necessary to plug it into the wall to use it every time. Not exactly practical. I decided to purchase the new Apple battery which really made a difference. The laptop is almost as good as new now and no need to plug it in to the wall to use any longer. Very happy with my purchase!

This is a genuine Apple OEM replacement battery. I learned from a service tech that the anticipated life cycle on current computer batteries is one year. This allows for roughly 300 charge/discharge cycles. While I was not pleased to learn this news, I did confirm it to be the case. So, if you are looking at this product, it has probably been a year since your got yours and you need another one because you can run for about 10 minutes away from an outlet. :)
Batteries to me need to be about safety. Third-party ones may save a little, but I would rather have the confidence that they will not become a hazard. This is an OEM Apple battery, and it does its job.

Pros- it gets the job done , last me longer than my old battery since its drained , you know you have to get a new battery when you have to keep your laptop charging all the time beacse it wont last more than 1 hour , I am glad I can pop a new battery in my MacBook pro , not like the new models , this battery can last over 1 hour without charge ,, it rocks !!
