First things first: I purchased this to use with my Panasonic G3, to fit Olympus 4/3 lenses. There will be some difference in usage. For one, my 40-150 lens works everything except continuous autofocus (AF-C). My 14-42 lens doesn't really work at all. So just do research on which lens/adapter combinations work and how they work.

Had a chance to purchase a 70-300 4/3 lens on sale at BH but needed an adaptor to put it on my OMD micro 4/3. This one was much cheaper that the ones from Olympus so I took the chance and it worked fine

This adapter gives me many more lens choices for my 4/3 Lumix G3. Previously, (sans adapter), I had to purchase Panasonic lenses made exclusively for the Lumix brand.

Recently bought an E-PM1 to go along with my E-410 and E-620. Works without a glitch with my E-System lens collection: 14-42, 40-150, 70-300, 9-18, 35 Macro and 25 Pancake.

Really a no-brainer if you already have a Four Third kit and delved recently into the micro Four Third experience.

E-PM1, with this adapter, completes beautifully an existing Olympus kit.

Just got this as a present for my Olympus epl-1

for the longest time i've been debating which one to get.. Olympus mmf 1,2,3, etc. or panasonic.. you would think you would want a olympus brand for your olympus camera but you cant deny the price of the panansonic one and the reviews~

finally my gf just went out and bought it for me b/c i couldn't make up my mind and i have to say, i am very pleased w/ it..

auto focus was alot faster than i anticipated it to be, especially in decent indoor lighting.. if you are out in the sun or a regular afternoon day, you wouldn't even kno you had a adapter on~

price is perfect, go for it!

It does the job it was intended to do. It is a little stiff to screw on but that probably because I screwed it on an olympus pen. And it still works, I love universal connections. Also it was way cheaper than the olympus model.

This is a simple product, not much to go wrong. It is more solid (heavier) than the newer Olympus versions and cheaper too.

This item is super helpful for those who own several 4/3 panasonic lenses and want to use them on their micro 4/3 rig. I own a GF-1 but i know several individuals who own the AF-1 and have used this as well. Very well made and built to match the style and quality of the camera itself. Small and portable and maintains the lens connection so that AF will work properly. All and all a very nice item worth the price.

The lenses appear to work great though I feal that that the auto focus is a little slower. But that may be me.

For all of you which are asking yourselves the same questions as I did:

- YES, it will work the same as an Olympus MMF-1/MMF-2 adapter, it's basically the same thing.

- YES, this adapter has the same metallic construction as the first generation Olympus adapter (the MMF-1, which costs almost twice the price when you can find it).

- YES, it costs even less than the Olympus MMF-2 adapter, which has a flimsy plastic construction.

A no brainer, isn't it ?

Oh, and you get a nice "Lumix" body cap with it. It's always exotic on a Olympus body :)

For a reasonable price, this sturdy adapter from Panasonic allows me to mount my Olympus 50mm f2.0 macro lens on my new Panasonic Lumix GH2 camera. The easy-to-mount adapter consistently enables me to produce with my new M4/3 camera the sharp images to which I had become accustomed when the lens was mounted on my older four-thirds camera. Granted, I'd like the adapter to be thinner, but then the lens wouldn't be positioned properly.

It works. The metal appears strong and so far it's holding the Olympus 35-100mm lens on the AF100 for long periods of time. I also have the Z-M-UB Mini Baseplate by Zacuto (a must have) and the Z-M-UB Mini Baseplate by Zacuto to help with support.
