NEXTO DI ND External Battery
The ND External Battery from Nexto DI works with the ND2730 and ND2700. It has 3.7 volts and 4400mAh. It gives an additional 80GB of charge when used. The battery plugs into the battery slot on the bottom of the unit.

charging is a pain cause you have to charge it at the same time as the main nexto and when the nexto is full it stops charging the external battery. other then that it keeps the nexto working. i toke it on a ten day shoot up north toward the arctic circle, the cold obviously shortend the battery life but that was expected. If you are going to be in remote areas and have a lot of filming to do it is a fair better option then spending a small fortune on a stack of Sony SxS cards
