Comments about Zacuto Z-ZG-PLK4 ZipGear Prime Lens Set:

After Purchasing my Zacuto follow focus I realized I needed ZipGears. For what you get, the price borders on abusive, but without a doubt it is the best follow focus system for using SLR lenses with DSLR video.
The strips are easy to set up. I used a dab of white out to mark where I needed to cut the strip. Simply align the strips around the lens and use the supplied Allen wrench to tighten the screws.
This system makes it easy to store the lenses compared to the absurd cage mounts of other manufacturers. It also allows you to easily use the lenses for still work if needed without reconfiguring.
If you mess up and cut the strip too short Zacuto sells replacement strips for about $15.
My comment to Zacuto would be when they coil the strips in the kit they should reverse the direction they are using so they would naturally wrap to the lenses rather than being reversed. It's not a big deal but why not?
4 stars for being too expensive.

Comments about Zacuto Z-ZG-PLK4 ZipGear Prime Lens Set:

These are the only add-on lens gears that work for me. Others make my lenses too bulky to fit in my case or do not stay on well. Work fine with my Redrock Micro follow focus. Just make sure you have measured correctly before you cut them to size.

Got these bundled with the Zacuto Crossfire because a competitor was selling the bundle for the same price as B&H was selling the Crossfire by itself.[...]They do cost a lot though.

Very easy to use and set up on the lens. I purchased these for my Canon Prime Lens, 50mm 1.2, 85mm 1.2, 24mm 1.4, use them with the Zacuto Single Action.

These were very easy to set up on several Canon L lenses and a Nikon 17-35mm zoom. They work great. Got the set free via a special promotion in conjunction with buying the single action.
