The blue 5561 Explorer 100 Digital Camera Bag from Tamrac is a 600 denier PolyTek and ballistic nylon bag with a thick, closed-cell foam lining. It can carry and protect a digital SLR camera with a 3.0" lens attached, an extra lens or flash and accessories. There is a Total Coverage Top with quick-release buckle and zipper closures that provides weather protection.

The Explorer Bag has a front pocket that uses a Memory & Battery Management System which provides quick access to memory cards, batteries and accessories. This system uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. There is a Speed Pocket on the front flap for small accessories and a side pocket that holds a water bottle or mobile phone. There is also a zippered pocket on the back that holds documents.

The bag is carried by an EasyGrip handle or a removable, adjustable BioCurve non-slip shoulder strap. The case includes a removable M.A.S. (Modular Accessory System) rain cover to protect the camera gear in extreme weather conditions.

Comments about 5561 Explorer 100 Digital Camera Bag (Black):

Pefrectly fits a Canon t3i + two lenses 55-135 and 55-250. Will also fit a charger and couple cables in the front pocket. I was looking for something compact that would fit the stuff I need and be easy to carry around. Found exactly that. On the site they mention that it will fit a 55-135 lens attached to a camera, but I have attached the bigger 55-250 and you can still close the zipper without any problems. Also the side pocket with the waterproof cover can be completely removed which makes it even smaller. I'm very happy with the product, highly recommend it.

Comments about 5561 Explorer 100 Digital Camera Bag (Black):

Has one large compartment divided into 3 smaller ones. Only good for 3 accessories. 2 lenses and a flash. Not enough room for camera hood etc.
I do like that it has many zippers for other small accessories.

Comments about 5561 Explorer 100 Digital Camera Bag (Black):

I've been using Tamrac bags for years now, and have never been disappointed with one yet, and this one is no exception. I've used everything from big, whole system bags to small pouches for a digital point-n-shoot. These are very well-made from top quality materials, and offer superior protection from the elements and from impact bumps, and are extremely versatile. This small bag is perfect to grab and go with a camera, one lens and a flash; an ideal travel companion for a day trip. I've tried other brands of camera bags, but always found them wanting in one way or another; I'll never buy anything but a Tamrac again.

This camera bag safely holds my Pentax K-7 DSLR with attached zoom lens, filter and lens hood, battery charger, extra batteries, filter wallet, lens cleaning supplies and memory cards. I wanted a small bag for travel when I don't need all the extra lenses and other equipment. The quality is excellent and the bag is extremely durable.

Comments about 5561 Explorer 100 Digital Camera Bag (Black):

I didn't really take a look around the store when i but this, this was actually the first one that they showed to me, so I'm not sure if there's one out there that would be better for me. Anyway, its a nice bag, you can feel that it will really protect your gear and it has a lot of bags big enough to fit your battery charger and probably some lens filters. I own a d3000, and 3 lenses, an 18-55, a 70-300 (fairly big lens) and a tiny 50mm they all fit nicely. I like my gear to be a little bit tight, I don't want my lenses to be jumping around my bag, thats what you get here. There is one downside, the 70-300 comes with a big lens hood and that makes it almost too tight. I think that if I try rearraging the separations i could fix it, but I'm too lazy. I would recommend you to go down to the store with your gear and try out as many bags until you find the right one.

I use this bag for the new Canon Rebel I purchased. It holds the camera with lens, and an extra lens I purchased. It also holds all the wires, manuals, memory discs, and my personal items so that when I go out all I have to take is this bag. It's very compact for its size, and is pretty sleek. Very easy to carry and pretty comfortable on your shoulder. It also has a nifty "raincoat" for the bag attached on the side. Great bag, all in all.
