Comments about Impact Qualite 300 Focusing Flood 2 Light Kit (120VAC):
This set was recommended by a B&H sales associate after I explained the project, subject and location I was planning only three days away. The set-up was perfect - inexpensive, good quality and produced the right color and amount of light for the shoot. I was impressed by the quality for the price. After three full days of continuous shooting, no problems, no complaints. A perfect starter set for the studio or location product photo shoot.

Comments about Impact Qualite 300 Focusing Flood 2 Light Kit (120VAC):
As a photographer just moving into studio work, I needed my own lights. This kit provides the hot lights with barn doors that allows for greater control with my lighting needs. The quality and price make this kit a supreme value.

Comments about Impact Qualite 300 Focusing Flood 2 Light Kit (120VAC):
Let me explain what happened. [...].I put together the lighting kit perfectly. Nothing fell, nothing was damaged. It wasn't too hot in the room, and the lights were not pointing downwards. And, no I didn't leave the barndoors closed. They were always open. After leaving the lights on for about 10 minutes, the lights started to melt from the top, inwards. Also, if you close the barndoors tight, they start to smoke and melt too...I thought they were deffective. So I exchanged them for new ones. In the exact same normal environment and conditions, they did the exact same thing. Some of my colleagues told me that it's because the lights are made of PLASTIC. That's why they melt. Lights are supposed to be made out of metal, because they get hot, like worklights.Do not get these lights, they will self destruct, because they are made out of plastic. What happens to plastic when you get it hot, it starts to melt, and maybe smoke. These lights are a fire hazzard.I'm a professional filmmaker with a lot of experience, and I hope that no one will waste their time and money on these.
