The Westone 3 in-ear headphones allow you to hear music, movies, and games like never before. By using 3 balanced armature drivers and a 3-way crossover network, each earpiece has the equivalent of its own woofer, midrange driver, and tweeter, to provide an incredible amount of realism and detail.
The included fit kit features 10 different styles of eartips, ensuring that you can absolutely find the size and style that's right for you. A properly fitting eartip provides the best comfort and stability, as well as the maximum amount of noise isolation.
The Westone 3 also comes with an inline volume control, allowing you to make on-the-fly level adjustments without having to take your music player out of your pocket or bag. The 3.5mm stereo mini plug is compatible with MP3 players, CD players, and other consumer electronic devices, and the included 1/4" adapter allows you to connect to pro-level gear. A soft padded travel case is also included for convenient storage.

Comments about Westone 3 Universal Fit 3-Way In-Ear Headphones:
I've had these for about 3 weeks and really love them. Before this I had the Jays q-jays ($), and these are a clear step up. Massive soundstage, tight, punchy bass, and really nice instrument separation. The only real flaw is that there is a noticible mid-bass hump, as many who have tried these have noted. It can certainly be distracting in certain recordings.I suggest checking out the forums on the website head-fi (not a retailer) to see in-depth reviews and discussion of various headphones in order to find the best ones for you, and to get a true rundown of the range of opinions on the Westone 3 from a variety of audio enthusiasts.

Comments about Westone 3 Universal Fit 3-Way In-Ear Headphones:
Great sound----but that's all---they are difficult to wear---it's almost impossible to see the markings for which ear it is----over time, the cord unravels and tangles easily.
If you are a couch potato and never "roll" these up, you'll be fine, but if you use as a portable earplug, it's useless and a truly bad investment, since they are so very pricy.
Great sound, awful functioning----and they look bad too!!

Comments about Westone 3 Universal Fit 3-Way In-Ear Headphones:
I am not a true audiophile. I can't really judge the sound quality. but I love the sound that it gives from my iPod and iPhones. I wear these when I am working out and just relaxing in the library between classes. even though they are not noise canceling but the sound isolation is so good that I almost pooped my pants when someone walk up behind me. And it's not like that person was creeping up to me. She was yelling my name as she was approaching me in the gym. I couldn't hear her at all. I am looking forward to use them on a plane.
I think this is also a good investment because with sound isolation you are less likely to need high volume in order to tune out the outside noise. in a way they protect your hearing. As a med student I can tell you that hearing cells (hair cells) don't grow back. That's why older folks are hard of hearing.

Comments about Westone 3 Universal Fit 3-Way In-Ear Headphones:
Incredible sound unlike anything I have heard in other earphones, like Bose. The 3-way produces a very well balanced result. The new Beatles box set sounds amazing. Comes with an array of options to fit your ear. Comfortable and lightweight. I like that they recess into my ear making wearing to bed possible. I use primarily with my iPod and lossless files. If you are listening to mp3's at 128 kbps don't bother with these, they'll only reveal how lousy your mp3's are.
