Comments about Yamaha DRX-730BL Micro Component System (Black):
The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is its lack of a Digital Optical Audio In connection. Could not get my Samsung LCD to route sound from the TV through this stereo without buying a digital audio decoder for the digital audio out on the TV and then the RCA ins on the stereo. The HDMI only routed sound from the DVD unit in the DRX-730BL through the stereo.

Comments about Yamaha DRX-730BL Micro Component System (Black):
[...] unfortunately, I was unaware that it is region coded and I cannot play disks from my region; support from manufacturer is hard to get and I am now unable to use it for movies.

Comments about Yamaha DRX-730BL Micro Component System (Black):
I need a small unit to put into a credenza. Because of it's small size it works well in this application. The unit is used to watch DVD's and power 2 8" ceiling speakers. The sound is good but it's not the best. It's has great performance in upconverting DVD's. No digital audio inputs for cable/sat box.
