Comments about Ewa-Marine VZ7 Underwater Housing for Sony HVR-Z7:

I bought this for our Sony HVR-Z7U, and it is a very snug fit. Makes me worried that I'll punch a hole in the bag trying to put the camera in.

I was also disappointed that the housing wasn't made with a special sleeve built into it that would mold around the camera's color monitor when folded out. The only way I'll be able to use the color monitor on the camera is to position it flat against the camera. In doing so, the straps of the bag are in the way of seeing the monitor clearly.

I haven't had the housing in the water yet, so can't attest to its use in the field, but for the money it cost, I am a bit disappointed so far.

I recommended the product, but really because there is nothing else out there like it.
