Used it on vocals for a very natural sound, but you'll need heavy eq and compression to make the vocals stand out. Sound great on harmonica too. The mellow sound is also good for drum overheads, no harsh cymbal sound!
Quiet, you may need a high gain preamp to get this to work the way you want it to. Unique sounding mic for a great price, I may pic up another!
The box is pretty huge for the size of the mic but it's still nice to have a case.
