Comments about METRO DataVac DataVac Pro MDV-2TAC Computer Cleaning System:

After researching Vacuum cleaners that could handle micro fine toner particles, I settled on this model, plus a pack of extra disposable bags. The unit comes with all the essential attachments needed for cleaning out your laser printer or copier. I service my own printers and a difficult time doing so until I got this cleaner. It is powerful, yet compact and very portable. It is made of steel, but not to heavy to move around. The canister pops open with two easy clips, and each bag comes with an adhesive seal ready to remove and place over the collection hole for quick disposal. The bags are very reasonable capacity. If you are looking to reclaim waste toner cartridges that have an optical sensor built in, then the fine tube extractor tool will do the last job and clean out the sensor windows. And of course you can make sure the waste cartridge is very clean inside and outside, after you have emptied it in a sealed trash bag. Just like a new one...Changing developer? Same deal, except this time is it iron filings and toner. No blow back into the air.An absolute MUST for the Do It Yourself laser printer maintenance man! It will pay for itself very quickly in time saved, lungs saved and renewal of used components.

Comments about METRO DataVac DataVac Pro MDV-2TAC Computer Cleaning System:

I am a piano technician and have been looking for a small, sturdy, versatile, portable vacuum/blower to handle dust on the soundboard and in the plate webbing of my customer's pianos. I used to carry two vacuums around with me until I found this one through work, it has the best tool set I have found for powerful section in small, hard-to-access areas, it is relatively light, it has a solid blower feature, and a nice long hose so I'm not swinging the body of the machine around the delicate cabinet finish. It has excellent filtration capability-- more than is strictly necessary for me, but you don't have to use all the filters. It does get a bit hot if you run it a long time, but the motor seems very solid, I've never had a problem even under heavy load (with smallest attachments). A great tool for my purposes, and fits nicely in a carry-on suitcase with all my other cleaning supplies.
