The Avenger A1035CS 11.5' Combo Alu Stand 35 with Leveling Leg is a chrome-plated steel, heavy duty light stand that features a leveling leg with an adjustable extension that lengthens it to provide secure support of equipment on uneven terrain and surfaces like stairs. The stand has 3 sections and 2 risers with a maximum height of 11.5'. The A1035B has a combo 5/8" Baby top stud and 1 1/8" female Junior receiver.

Avenger is making the best combo stands of anyone. Well engineered and durable. Lots of small details that make it really nice. And free shipping makes this a no brainer if you need a combo stand.
Note that the minimum height in the specs is in the normal configuration. You can go a few inches lower if you lower the center post through both brackets, and it's no less sturdy. This isn't so easy on other brands who don't use a knuckle on the lower brace, but rather a hex set screw, lame.

These stands are big, strong, super wide base and heavy. Made in Italy. They could probably carry any weight you could throw at them.
I strongly recommend the casters Avenger makes for these stands in order to avoid the hassle of trying to move these.
