Comments about Peavey PR12 2-Way Portable PA Speaker with 12" Woofer:
These are well made portable speakers with a 12 inch rolled cloth suspended woofer and a horn loaded tweeter with smooth high frequency response. They are light weight, have a good balanced sound and of high quality for an excellent price and made in the USA.

Comments about Peavey PR12 2-Way Portable PA Speaker with 12" Woofer:
I do a solo acoustic show and needed a pair of speakers that along with my 500w amp, would give my vocals and guitar a great sound. I also needed the speakers to be light weight, as I have a seriously bad back. The Peavey PR12s were a great choice, as they sound really good and are light enough for my wife to carry them for me ;-)

Comments about Peavey PR12 2-Way Portable PA Speaker with 12" Woofer:
I'm a mobile DJ and I recently purchased the PR12 2-Way Portable PA Speaker with 12" Woofer by Peavey based on the positive reviews I read over the internet.I attached the PR12s to my Numark NS7 using SLR M-F cables and the sound coming from the speakers is not what I expected. Even after adjusting my computer settings (Sony VAIO) and the volumes on my NS7, the sound was still of poor quality. The speakers did not produce a sound equal to that of shelf speakers. The speakers did not handle the high, mid, or low EQs and produced a very hollow and choppy sound. At first I thought it was my laptop, but I used my Mac and it made no difference. Even though it was probably a defective pair of PR12s I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.[...] I would definitely continue to use B&H.
