Comments about Kentmere 35mm Black and White ISO 100 Negative (Print) Film (100'):

Simply amazed at the outcome. In my zealousness I neglegted to install the end cap on the cassette before loading a roll. I pulled out the roll and discovered my mistake and quickly installed said end cap, I was in the kitchen during the afternoon, not a darkroom. Rather than throw out the film I loaded it up and shot the roll in my yard just for S&G's. Developed in a 2 day old batch of 1+100 Adonol diluted to 1+200 @ 75F, 1 hour no agitation. WOW! Ya gotta try this stuff, will not disappoint. I will buy this again! Haven't printed yet, but look forward to it. As I said, simply amazed. I am a Pro-Amatuer, emphsis on amatuer, just tarting to develope my own film. Still have and shoot my first SPII, bought new in 1972.

I'm taking good pictures with this film. D-76 developer seems to work well. You need to be fairly close with the exposure value to get good results.

i was looking for a film which i can develop as a slide in reversal process. kentmere 100 responds very well for this process. i use pmk as second developer and this film is giving me pretty nice final color of slide.

I was given a couple rolls of this film to try and was skeptical because it is so inexpensive. I really like the tones and contrast this film gives. It is similar to Fomapan 100. Just don't expect it to replace Fuji Acros or even Ilford FP4.

Ii use bulk 35mm film for my B&W old school shooting. Rolling my own film saves a lot of mony from individual rolls. The film grade is fine and enlarges well to print.

Comments about Kentmere 35mm Black and White ISO 100 Negative (Print) Film (100'):

Pretty great film for the price, the tonal range is decent, although contrast isn't as defined as other films that cost twice as much. For the price it is an amazing bargain, and you really do get great shots from it, just not as dense as other films.

Developed in stock D76 (Arista-76) at standard temp and time (Check the massive dev chart for times). On flickr I've seen some really pronounced grain when pushed two or three stops, might try that soon.

I recommend this for anyone looking to learn or wanting to try new techniques without worrying about wasting expensive film.

I go a lot of outdoor shooting, landscapes, foliage, woods, etc. and I find this to be an excellent, low price general purpose film. It has great sharpmess and wide latitude. My lith prints from Kentmere negatives are very good.

I highly recommend this product. It is great for those on a budget or for students.
