The Sunpak FlexPod Gripper is a versatile miniature tripod/grip that's appropriate for light point and shoot style cameras. Load ratings are based on a perfectly-centered load; in practical terms the FlexPod Gripper's appropriate for use with small point and shoot cameras that fit in a shirt pocket, and you can expect such a camera to be able to be situated any way you like with safety when using the FlexPod Gripper.
Constructed with a metal core wrapped with a polymer skin, the FlexPod Gripper's rather sturdy and has good 'stiction' to nearly anything you can think of...fences, poles, and tree branches are all acceptable for the FlexPod Gripper, and of course it can be used as a traditional table-top tripod, too.

Is easy to adjust by bending the legs or turning the swivel base and holds its position. I have even been able to bend the legs and hang my camera from different objects. I don't know why I'd pay for anything else.

This product is what makes my videos gold. It keeps the camera still on what i strap the tripod to. I can launch it on a rocket and it still probably will not come off. I get great action shots because of this thing. I think this tripod would benefit lots of people who would make the great decision to buy this tripod. The only thing that does not benefit is that pieces can fall off easilly. But overall, This is a really great product.

Got this as a gift. Opened the plastic, luckily without cutting myself and pulled this thing out. I tried rearranging the legs and head and it immediately broke. The cheap plastic holding the head to the legs is super tiny and extremely weak. A metal bar should have been there despite the weight. Save your money!

I use this product with my handy cam. It works great in the hunting blind for a second view of the hunter. It easily bends to attach to tree branches or the blind supports. The head does seem a little "cheap" since it's made out of a light plastic.
