Very glad to know the little bits of Sony gear cn be replaced. This is an exact replacement for mounting the wireless reciver to a camcorder shoe mount. Perfect fit. I bought 3 as spares so I'm never without the bits I need. Also have extra lav clips and wind screens.

Purchasing one of these seems like a waste of money -- until your original plastic shoe mount breaks off the receiver. Sony's wireless receivers are about all metal except for the weaker plastic mounting foot. They actually design it to break before damage is done to your camera mount (causing a very expensive equipment repair bill). I bought this as an emergency backup for when (not if) I fumble with the receiver. Money well spent!
