Comments about Canon IFC-200U USB Interface Cable - 6.9' (1.9 m):
I use this product in my studio so that I can shoot tethered. This allows me to see pictures straight to my computer so that I can make refine settings on my camera if needs. This also speeds up post-production time. I am giving this a 2 star for 2 reasons:
1. The cable is too short for what I need to do. The 6.9' is too limiting.
2. In the middle of my shoot it quit working. At first I thought it was my battery but after a little charge, it still wouldn't work. Not sure if a poor connection or still had something to do with the battery. I just had to unplug it and finish my shoot. I haven't tried to use it since - but definitely need the longer cable.

Comments about Canon IFC-200U USB Interface Cable - 6.9' (1.9 m):
I use this with an iMac to upload my Canon EOS 5D pictures. One day, when not using the cable, the iMac said "Oh User, you seem to be extracting the living daylights out of your USB port so we're shutting it down." I looked down under the desk and there was the Jack Russell munching away on the other end of the cable. I can't fix the port right now, but a new cable sure helps with a different port. [...] a great product.

I tried a non-canon cable and had troubles communicating with the computer while shooting tethered. With the Canon, cable no sweat....stick with Canon !!
