Product Highlights
  • Nikon Single-pin Adapter Connector Fitting D70s & D80 Cameras

This Dot Line RS-0424/NA RPS TTL Tilt Flash Bracket attaches to the base of an SLR or similarly sized camera and provides both a platform for a shoe-mount flash, as well as a TTL extension cable to run between the camera and flash without any loss of flash functionality.

The design of this bracket allows for full grip and control of a camera and minimal obstruction caused by the bracket itself.

In addition, the included off-camera TTL cord features a tilting base that facilitates proper illumination for close up shots.

Adjustable bracket - a shoe-mount flash can be lifted up to 16" above the camera
Bracket design keeps a photographer's hands on the camera, not on the bracket
Tilting feature is useful for macro or close-up shooting

Comments about RPS Lighting RS-0424/NA RPS TTL Tilt Flash Bracket:

I purchased this flash bracket for my Nikon D80 which also has the MB-D80 battery pack installed on the bottom of the camera body. There are no problems with fit. The entire unit, once camera, battery pack, lens, and flash are all installed is heavy but that is to be expected. As for the flash bracket itself, it seems sturdy and so far has performed quite well. My main complaint, and it's not a little one, is that there are no instructions. You have to be somewhat mechanically inclined to figure this whole thing out. However, once you have it figured out it is a nice flash bracket. Because of the weight I will most likely be using it on a tripod 100% of the time rather than trying to hand-hold it. I wouldn't recommend it for "every day" use but for portraits, weddings, and that type of thing it is a nice addition. Please, for the sake of photographers who are not engineers, tell Red-Line to come up with some instructions!!!
