Comments about Westcott uLite Constant Light with 20" Softbox (120VAC):
I had read that there were issues about setting up the soft box. I am not real handy, but I have to tell you that without instructions it was REALLY easy to do.. No problems at all.
The ulite is really nice.. Westcott just took a simple product and made it nicer and easier to use than one would expect. I love it...

i use this light for video work primarily. its a good fill light for 3 point style interview setup. i do a lot of segment production and informational videos and its a great run and gun light to shoot interviews with people without having to have an extensive setup.

Comments about Westcott uLite Constant Light with 20" Softbox (120VAC):
The Westcott unite does exactly what you'd expect of a light of its price class. It does a decent job with everything but lacks the rock solid construction of more expensive lights and their flexibility and power as well. But for my occasional product shots and very occasional portraits it fits the bill.

I bought this to use for lighting product photos (digital still photos) for our website. It turned out to be just what I needed and at a very reasonable price too.

Comments about Westcott uLite Constant Light with 20" Softbox (120VAC):
The product is excellent. But, I was given an incomplete package. The reflector white screen for the front was missing. I had to make the trip back downtown to exchange it for a complete package. This was very distressing. Next time I'm going to check the merchandise before I leave the store. This doesn't seem like very good business.

Comments about Westcott uLite Constant Light with 20" Softbox (120VAC):
This was my first soft box, and it took me a few tries to put it together. I am still unable to get 1 corner in the slot... There are no instructions on how to put it together, but once I realized that the center pushes in and clicks it made the world of a difference. I have used it now for 2 newborn sessions and have been pleased with the portability and results on camera.
Comments about Westcott uLite Constant Light with 20" Softbox (120VAC):
In pet photography a strobe can be frightening so the continuous light does the job. The softbox helps create that portrait shot.
