I use these lamps in my Lowel Pro-Lights. They're very good and I have never had one blow while the light was on all day. However, they do have a tendency to blow very easily if the light is bumped. I try to keep at least two spare bulbs on-hand at all times.

Good price!
SO far so good, these bulbs were a great price. Seem to work as well Not sure about longevity yet, but otherwise seem to function well.

Comments about Impact GCA Lamp (250W) (120V):
I bought this one because it was cheaper than the others. It hasn't failed me yet, but it's only been a few months. Be sure not to handle it with your bare hands. Wear gloves when you put it into your light. Finger oils can cause lamps like these to fail prematurely.

Comments about Impact GCA Lamp (250W) (120V):
I am always surprised at how long these bulbs last. For how much I use my lights (somewhat frequently, if not every week) I often get to the point where I am nervous that I will have a bulb blow out in the middle of a time sensitive shoot. Yet, they continue to burn seemingly LONG beyond their suggested lifespan. I never feel bad when I have to drop a few dollars on replacements. Money well spent, always.

Comments about Impact GCA Lamp (250W) (120V):
This is the lamp that you put in a Lowel Pro light. For 250 watts you get a lot of punch. This unit is the generic version of a more expensive lamp made by anther company. This one does the job and saves you money. I have used it in backlights for live TV shows for ESPN and the MLB Network. I can not tell you how long they last because I have never had one blow out. I only had to buy it because I bought a used light that did not come with the lamp.

I shoot video for a marketing agency and I use these bulbs all the time for the lighting system I have. They are very reliable and long lasting. They seem to break easily when being transported.

There's not much you can say about a bulb like this. It works great, puts out a heck of a lot of light and lasts quite a while. I'm extremely pleased with it.

Really, it's a lamp. You insert it into an instrument, and it produces light. What more can you ask?
