I spent countless hours and days researching what I wanted to go with(very frugal with my investments), but knew I needed something, because I kept missing out on monies when guests would ask for prints while I was hired to shoot "walk-arounds" at an event. I explored all the leading companies, DNP/Sony, Mitsi, Shinko, etc and had always been intrigued by Hiti and its $200-$400 printers. I watched countless YouTube videos and finally saw the one thing I was waiting for...WIRELESS CAPABILITY!! No need for an assistant!! Yippee, I was sold!!
This is a solid beast of a machine, with a small footprint and the ability to make you seem like a magician to your clients. I can take a shot at an event while walking around, show it to the guest, send the print job from 330' away, continue to take shots and sending jobs as I make my way to the printer and come back within a few minutes with prints in temp frames...WHOA!!! They are amazed both with speed and print quality. I love it!! Then, once they see that, they either want to take more or they spread the word. It is AMAZING!! Thank you Hiti and for anyone on the fence, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
P.S. I don't write reviews...

I purchased three of these for a large onsite photography and printing job. There are a few things these printers do well. They print quick and can work hard non-stop for hours. I used these printers outdoors connected to a portable generator. They ran great, except for when the generator ran out of gas. It was 90 degrees outside, we had the printers in the shade.
The wireless option on these printers is where the breakdown is. We used the Hiti WFT510 wireless adapters with our Canon 5D Mark III cameras. The wireless adapters worked for a while and then would start to throw errors. The batteries got very hot and had to be removed. After the device cooled down we were able to put the batteries back in and get them to function. During the time wireless did not work we had to shoot tethered by USB cable which is a slower process and of course defeated the purpose of having a wireless printer.
The print quality was very good. Out of 2000 prints we ran there was only one print error where we had to rerun the print. Never was there a jam.
After a few more runs I am sure we will figure out a better solution to keep the wireless transmitters from overheating. I guess I would say the printers are fantastic, just the transmitter is not.

I do Black tie, Military balls and Company parties. This printer will make your event go extremely well. I had Canon MG 6100/6200 ink jets before I purchase the Hiti printer. Thsy did ok if I had a few people in line, but when you have a line out the door because everyone want a picture, you better have something that can produce. The Hiti P510si produce. I like the speed and easy installation. I shoot with Nikon D-7000 teather to my Mac Book Pro 10.6 using Aperture 3 to view and print. The only thing I can find wrong is it pretty heavy and I wish it had a rolling case.

Worst printer ever built. No help from this company or even hiti to fix the issue. Colors does not come out right at all. ICC profiles don't work. Do not buy if you have a mac. It will not work. You can try if you have a PC.

I purchased this printer for this amount of money and it doesn't come with ink or capability to use it when you receive it. I had ordered what I thought would be extra ink at the same time and it was put on backorder. That has been a few weeks ago and I haven't heard anything sense. I have a photo shoot coming up and no printer to use.

Quite simply the best investment for my event photography business. Not only is this printer quick, it delivers excellent prints. And the range for the wireless transmittion is also equally excellent. Definitely paid for it self within 2 events. And no matter if you go directly from a computer or wireless you'll be pleased with the speed and color representation this printer delivers.

Comments about HiTi P510Si 6" Dye Sub Wireless Photo Printer (US/CA Version):
This is a great little printer that produces shots with beautiful color. I have used it for a very large annual event where I have to crank out 200+ images each day for presentation boards. While it is a sturdy and reliable machine you have to be careful to not burn it out by printing numerous consecutive images. The only downside to the machine is there is NO way to get it to read Lightroom color profiles and if you have to deal with support, you are dealing with someone in [*] and it is fruitless. You just have to take the extra step and export from Lightroom (if that is your main photo software) and into photoshop to print. It is a bit of a minor inconvenience but not a major problem.
