I learned a long time ago not to mess with aftermarket camera batteries. I ordered this before an extended vacation where I knew I wouldn't have the chance to charge my primary battery. It worked like charm and I have no doubts it will for a long time.
The only thing I don't care for is having 2 Panasonic Lumix cameras, and each take a different battery, but not much I can do about it.

The battery runs out too quickly. I was able to take about a 100 pictures with the flash on before it ran out.
Apparently Panasonic's new firmware makes it next to impossible to use any other after market battery, unless the battery has been "hacked" to be accepted by the camera. Therefore, consumers are forced to purchase the original equipment at 2-3 times higher costs.
I suppose the up-side is that you can't go wrong with the original equipment. I'm assuming Panasonic made this move partly because if the aftermarket battery is even slightly off in size, the water-proof feature of the camera will be compromised and most people will blame Panasonic for the problem.

This is the true replacement battery for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3. Others advertise a battery for the DMC-TS3 but it is not the right model (mAh or Wh). As always, at B&H "what you see is what you get"...the right battery at a good price.
This works just as well as the original because it is an exact replacement. I needed a backup for recent vacation involving some water activity and this was handy to have...I had to use it several times when my original battery was exhausted due to extensive shooting as none of my DSLR's were not a practical choice.
No battery communication problems with the camera at all.

Ordered battery and the sd card from b&h photo and ordere camera from a different company. I was shopping for price. Before the other company would ship the camera I had to put up with a pushy salesman who was mad because I wouldn't buy an overpriced knock off battery from them. Then 3 days before our trip i called that company about the camera and he said it wouldnt be in for another week! I cancelled that order and ordered the camera and battery from b&h. I am so glad I did. I ended up spending a out $75 less on all things purchase and it arrived just in time for our Ambergrise Caye trip. Everything worked flawlessly and on one all day trip I did use both batteries. Thank u B & H I will continue using you and stop shoppng around!

I got the battery charged it and took off on a 2 day trip. Used the camera quite a but, it's for sure kept it's charge for that trip. Quick to charge and seems to last quite awhile like the battery I got with the camera, as they both should as they are the same batteries. We'll see in a few months after being used a bit more how it holds yup. So only 4 stars cause I've only have it for a week, I'd give it 5, but I don't know how well it does truely last!

I use to buy my batteries off of cheap online auction websites or other sites, thinking I was getting a great deal...its amazing how people in China can take an off brand battery and make it look real. BE CAREFUL, buy you battery from an authorized retailer (such as B&H)
So far am an pleased with this battery. Battery seems to charge fast, havent used the camera to much yet to test how long it lasts on a charge. The main thing is that im SURE it is a real panasonic battery!
