I have been using the mouse for 2 weeks and it works better than expectations. The programmable buttons change the way you use a mouse and the option of off the desk use is fantastic.

Comments about Gyration Air Mouse GO Plus:
I have used the Gyration mice for 5-6 years. The older models worked much better. I love these mice, but I wished they would last longer. The scroll wheel on all my Gyration mice ALL wear out after 2-3 years. The scroll wheels lose their precise clicks.
Also, these mice do not hold up well to being dropped.
I purchased the Go plus from B&H (great company and service). I had problems with the mouse right from the start. First, there's a short lag time from the moment the mouse is picked up and when it becomes responsive. Next, the biggest problem is the skipping cursor. The cursor skips at the last moment you leave it on a spot. This is most pronounced on the edges of the screen.
I exchanged the Go Plus 3 separate times and had the same problem on all 3 units.

The mouse works great in our conference room. The company shipped it very quickly. We had a previous model that the battery died in and we were unable to get a replacement so we opted for this newer model.

Comments about Gyration Air Mouse GO Plus:
I use this mouse for the specific purpose of giving my hand/wrist another option of controlling a mouse. Because there are two ways to use the mouse, my hand/wrist do not hurt after prolonged use. I use this mouse when I'm doing simple movements and clicks on the computer and will not be using the keyboard. Mainly surfing the web, moving files around, reading/deleting emails (I weed out the ones that get trashed or need no reply).
The mouse has an excellent battery life.
The cradle is a great. The mouse has to go somewhere when not in use. Why not the cradle to recharge? I like the form of the mouse. It has height on it. Not too low to the table. Good weight. Solid build, but you don't want to repeatedly drop this mouse. It does have a gyroscope in it. Buttons are soft and click when pressed. The scroll wheel is quiet, but has that notch/groove feeling so you can tell it's moving.
Tracking is fine. My opinion is it just depends on how reflective the surface is for any mouse.
Reception by the receiver is excellent.
I've used this mouse for over 10 years.
I like other mice, but this is my favorite.
As for using it in the air, it may take up to a week at most to become real smooth with the movement and clicking. Once you have it down, you can move much faster controlling in the air. Overall, using it in the air is flawless. It works.
There is software that comes with it, but I'm a Mac user.
The software is for the PC.
They have Mac software, but it is for a different mouse.
Overall, a well made mouse.

We are using the Air Mice in our 300 seat lecture halls. They allow the faculty to leave the lectern and move around the room for both pointing and slide changes in PowerPoint. This is better than a laser pointer for lecture caputre directly from the computer.

Comments about Gyration Air Mouse GO Plus:
I have been using air mice for years and its an awesome product. It takes time to get used to using it in the air, but once mastered its easy. The only downside that i can say is the battery doesnt last more that 24 hrs..

Comments about Gyration Air Mouse GO Plus:
The Air Mouse Go Plus functions all around easily. Though slightly more compact than the previous version, this helps the on desk use if you decide to place the mouse down. In hand, it may feel kind of awkward at first due to this compactness, where as the previous model was more like a TV remote size instead. After playing around with the mouse, you get used to this size and it begins to feel much better in your hands. The function of the mouse, however, is great. You can point all around on presentations when giving them and the remote mouse reads the USB import plug well enough to point without focusing exactly where at. Overall, very excited to continue using this mouse.
