The B+W 37mm Digital-Pro UV Haze MRC 010M Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. No additional coloration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.
The Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) is both an anti-reflection coating as well as a protective surface. It helps to increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. Additionally, it offers greater protection to the filter substrate and stays cleaner for longer than uncoated filters.
B+W filters are constructed from high quality Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. They feature a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention. The Digital-Pro mount refers to the brushed chrome filter ring opposed to a standard black ring.

Comments about B+W 37mm Digital-Pro UV Haze MRC 010M Filter:
Great filter. I will only buy B+W filters from now on. They are so clear and crisp, never reducing image quality in any way that I can tell.
The silver ring looks good with the body of the lens too!

Comments about B+W 37mm Digital-Pro UV Haze MRC 010M Filter:
Never have to worry about how a filter effects your lens with a B+W brand filter. Excellent threading means the filter never binds on you lens so it's easy on or off and the UV effect is great for eliminating haze on landscape or scenic shots while punching up colors without effecting skin tone.

Comments about B+W 37mm Digital-Pro UV Haze MRC 010M Filter:
I bought this filter for my olympus 45mm f1.8 lens. This silver filter goes really well with the silver lens. I have to say it looks much much better than a black filter on a silver lens. In terms of optical quality, I own several B+W MRC filters and I am always satisfied. It is very easy to clean (I use a lenspen) and very durable. With this filter you really don't need a lens cap. It is also able to take the screw-in lens hood. Highly recommended!

Comments about B+W 37mm Digital-Pro UV Haze MRC 010M Filter:
I was looking for a filter for my u4/3 Olympus 45mm 1.8, but I didn't want to get one in black, considering the entire lens is silver. Thankfully, I found out about B+W's Digital-Pro line, where all the lens come in a silver/chrome brass ring. And I must say, the filter looks AMAZING coupled with the lens. There's also absolutely no interference with IQ; it adds protection to the front element; and B&H sells 'em a fairly reasonable price. If you're also in the market for a silver 37mm filer, BUY THIS! You won't regret it.

I like the fit and feel of the B+W filters. No visible difference of IQ from using these filters. Coating seems very good. I use these primarily for the extra insurance of protection.
