Product Highlights
  • For Canon WP-DC28, WP-DC34 and WP-DC48 Housings for the Canon PowerShot G10, G11, G12 and G15 Cameras

This Fantasea RedEye color correction filter will fit the Canon WP-DC28, WP-DC34 and WP-DC48 housings for the Canon PowerShot G10, G11, G12 and G15 cameras. The filter alters the blue color of warm salt water to give it a rich, natural tone. It also enhances the contrast of underwater video and photographs. The filter works exceptionally well in shallow depths up to 60'.

Note: Prior to purchase, confirm that no additional adapter is required to fit this filter to your housing.

Note! The filter should be used with available light only.

Comments about Fantasea Line RedEye Underwater Color Filter for Blue Water:

I own the Canon G12. If I was rating this by how great it preformed. It would of gotten 4 or 5 stars. This comes in two parts filter and holster. Filter itself is hard to keep in place when attaching to the holster. But once it's in the holster and attached to the camera. Fantastic!! Now my problem. If you are going on a shore dive using your camera in shallow and water deeper than 40ft. You need to remove and replace the filter. You can do it but not very covenant and you better have good buoyancy.

Comments about Fantasea Line RedEye Underwater Color Filter for Blue Water:

I use the red lens for open water diving in Hawaii, from 15' to 100'. I've always had trouble with red light correction in the white ballance settings, having a red lens had made a huge difference in the quality and color content of the photos I've been taking. 50% of the work is taken out of post processing alone. The Fantasea lens that I purchased comes with a lot of extra bulk that I am not a fan of. I underdtand that the extra material is for additional accessories but I could do with out it. That is why I removed one star from my review. Hope this helps.

Fits perfectly on the WP-DC34, and can add extra warm colors to the pictures in depth wo. using flash.

Comments about Fantasea Line RedEye Underwater Color Filter for Blue Water:

Though the filter adequately provides red coloring to your photos, the lens pops out pretty easily, making it feel cheap. This is disadvantageous given the large price tag for this small accessory. That said, it is the only one I found on the market for the Canon G11 housing (which is what I use this lens with), and would recommend the product if you need it. Just be careful with it.

Comments about Fantasea Line RedEye Underwater Color Filter for Blue Water:

This is the easiest and best fix for underwater photography. Instead of having to try to adjust your camera or Photoshop afterwards just fit this lens on the underwater housing and start taking pictures. It is as easy as that.
