The HiTi Digital W510 Wireless Foto Transmitter photo transmitter designed for use with the HiTi PS510Si Wireless Foto Printer or other wireless printer with a with functioning FTP server (802.11b/g compatible). With HiTi WFT510 Wireless Foto Transmitter, photographers can not only use DSLR cameras, but also can use a wide variety consumer-type PictBridge equipped cameras and a photo printer for easy shoot-to-print photofinishing.
The WFT510 enables photographers to do instant printing without removing the USB cable (link-print mode) or memory cards from their digital cameras. A photographer is free to move around while taking photos and in only three steps they can complete the whole process from shooting to printing. After a photo shoot, the only thing needed to do is click the switch button, select desired photos to print, and then send them the printer.
The WFT510 not only enables a camera to transmit photos to a wireless printer, but also allows it to transmit photos to a PC. With HiTi WFT PC Kits (not included), users can easily set up their PCs to receive the photos which are transmitted by WFT510.

When it works, it works well. However it has an issue with overheating and in that case it is rendered useless. We used three of these wireless devices tethered to 3 Canon 5D Mark III cameras for a shoot to print event. All three transmitters ended up overheating. Because of that we had to tether the cameras to the printers by USB until the Hiti transmitters cooled down enough to put the batteries back in.
My guess is that if you were to use them in a cool environment and did not take hundreds of photos you would be ok. However we were taking 100's of photos and printing outdoors.

My first event that I did 'Shoot and Print' right on the spot I used several camera cards and then as I shot each shot, I handed the card to the one in charge of printing, then grabbed another card for the next shot. That was a lot of ware and tare on my camera. The ones in charge of the event asked me if I wanted a contract to do all the city's event, I knew I needed something more doable... This is it! Love it!!
