Comments about LaCie 2TB Spare Drive for 2big Quadra, Triple, Dual, and Network 1.1:
If you have a Lacie drive with RAID configuration, this drive is a must. If a drive ever fails, you can just swap this one in and the system will automatically re-mirror. The power comes in off-site storage, though. Once a week I swap in the spare and remove an active drive to another site. I rotate the three drives this way so I always have RAID in effect, and data stored off-site.
