I previously purchased a set of filters for a great price at a sale, the only problem is they were 62mm so I needed to get 2 step up rings for the 2 lenses that I owned. First of all B&H's prices were the best that I found, and upon reciept of the step up rings I was very impressed with the quality. I will definitely buy from B&H again and again.

The threads to attach a filter work OK, but the (single) thread that attaches this ring to the lens is very poorly formed. Difficult to start, hard to turn and doesn't fully seat. Other reviews say this ring is metal, but feels like plastic to me. Spend a few dollars more and get a good one instead of this part.

it works. it is cheap. it is metal. i have used to put 62mm filters on a few of my nikon 52 mm lenses. it has worked every time without issue. unless you want the fancy brass one therre is not reason to pay more.

The ring saves money, almost 50%, since I have 52mm and 62mm diameter lens. The step-up ring allows me to use 62mm filters on both lens.

This handy little gadget lets me use a wide angle close-up lens on my existing Nikon lenses. The wide angle was 62 mm threads, and my Nikon lenses are 52mm, so this lets me use it with them also, not just the Sigma lens that I originally bought it for. Great little item, and the price was right. [...]

What's to say? The ring adapter is the answer to having 2 or 3 different lenses that require filters of different sizes. These are aluminum, properly sized and thread right in. It lets you use one set of filters on most if not all of your lenses.

Since this is a step-up ring, vignetting is not apt to be an issue.
