The Cavision SWJ221 Slide-On Windcover offers optimum wind protection without the need for a basket or blimp-type windshield and wind-muff. Comments about Cavision SWJ221 Slide-On Windcover with 0.82" (21mm) Inside Diameter - Length 4" (101.6mm):

I bought this to put on the mic that came with my Sony NX5U. It fits great, and was easy to put on. I needed it for an outdoor wedding that I shot recently. Since I wasn't able to compare this windscreen with the one that came with the camera during the wedding, I can't really say if it did it's job. I definitely still heard the low rumble from the wind, but I don't know how much better it was compared to using the other windscreen. From what I can tell, it kept the wind to more of a low rumble than the higher frequencies often heard with wind. For the price, I'd say it does a pretty good job.

Good quality windjammer for the price. Snug fit and works well on my small pencil condensers. Does everything it needs to do and does it inexpensively, can't complain about that!

          • Sony ECM-939T

          Comments about Cavision SWJ221 Slide-On Windcover with 0.82" (21mm) Inside Diameter - Length 4" (101.6mm):

Works perfectly on Sony ECM-939T. I had been putting up with only the foam windscreen for too many years.
